Holy hell. a G8 shooter, not quite maxed out (but max dex)
From about 170 onwards I lacked the damage to effectively kill haters.. and this is what happened.
I don't record all my plays, just grab select clips from PS4.

It's insane what this game has evolved into since it came out. I remember getting this for free on PS. Got to floor 40 and finished it and never came back. It looks a lot better now. Shit maybe this would be worth trying to get into again.

The reality is your effectiveness will be determined by how much you whale, rolling for the best decals; or if you can grind passive gear bonuses for thousands of hours. I shouldnt rag on the game too much - my next video will be about it

I did buy the battle pass because theres an anniversary event on until Jan 15th so i knew i would fully relapse and play a lot over xmas. But usually i wouldn’t. I’m thinking of only playing during events

Cheers for that! I only really want to finish the first 40 levels, and I heard that the grind can be atrocious without the pass, but I don't mind some tedium as the game looks like good fun. Really looking to your video on it in the new year. Umbasa 🙏

@@thomassharples9734 gear is super important. there's a moment in the 3rd area that is nothing but a gear check. I used my souls skills to just blow my way through to floor 20 without farming much at all. Then it all caught up with me :(( The pass doesn't make THAT much of a difference. The atrocious part is farming the high tower without the free-garbage chute (dustin) that's available in anniversary event: The highest elevator is at 50F. Top tier materials start appearing around 120F. Imagine climbing that high, immediately filling your limited inventory. (50 slots with best farming class)... and having to start over. stupid game. If you can be happy with beating floor 40 and rolling credits then yeah do that..

The only thing that bothers me is after so many levels they are about the same format, just different/harder enemies. That being said, i just can't handle how long it takes to grind this game. After so long everyone are damage sponges while you are one shot even with thousands of health.

@@BlinJe I enjoy the game don't get me wrong but there's a few things that could definitely be adjusted. For one just how unbearably difficult it is to continue going up floors without it being pay to survive. I've only gotten to that floor with GOTO-9 and after seeing the bosses just loop around, it really bothers me. The way online raids go is pretty stupid too, because obviously someone who is level 127 is gonna beat me, level 33.

Hmm.. 30-40 your best friend is the Iron, because it destroys bosses. For the F40 boss... just stockpile as many good shrooms as you can
