My max floor is sixty, I’m just upgrading my stuff at the moment, gonna take it slow, upgrade my night scout armor to night raider E and upgrade fencing armor to sword master armor, also the flail because it goes up a good amount in attack power with each upgrade

@@anarchocommunist3888 leveling up is the biggest part for the first 15 floors. After that focus on upgrading weapons and armor trust me. Also level up your fist to the max

Others (like me) play suuuuuuper slow & careful & take forever to get anywhere, but rarely get killed. No wrong way to play! Hope you stick with it.

It is because I activated a (daily) express pass. It changes the TDM arrival platform layout, also you can leave the raid as early as you want.

Hey, you're kind of right about the bot part. There are 4 of those haters that you will likely see more often, they are called Yotsuyama Chargers. They are an 'event' created by the game, so they aren't real players that died. They have a chance to drop specific armour set blueprints, so farming them might be in your interest if you like the weapons they use

It's weird talking about fair in an any% speedrun. I get the pay to win stuff but getting a bunch of KC out of TDM is something the game let's you do. You are not abusing any wall clipping or some shit like that.

@@AnimeNoel me and Gr4de, another LID player, were both really interested in making speedrunning viable for the game. But for this there needed to be strict rules, and during both my speedruns I was kind of experimenting with the rules, to see what felt right or wrong. That's why you might have noticed some differences in the two runs, such as TDM. After my second run, Gr4de and I talked for quite a while about coming up with perfect rules. However, we didn't really see eye to eye on one or two specifics. One of them was the usage of the wandering shop that sells red metals (on 27F I think?). We couldn't convince eachother wether we should or shouldn't allow it. I was a fan of allowing it, but Gr4de didn't like it, because it would mean a run is only 'viable' on certain days, when the rotation was 'perfect'. I argued that it's's just smart usage of one of the games core mechanics, and if you're never ever able to play on a certain day of the week, that's tough luck. Although, to be quite honest, I stopped caring about the discussion after a while. So I said fine, you can add it as a rule to forbid the usage of this shop, but I'll keep my run on the website until someone manages to break it. Or even post another run that comes remotely close, without the usage of the shop. And if someone manages to do a proper run without the shop, I'd be convinced. So far I haven't seen any competition. So all the more reason to not give a crap about the 'new rules', and just keep my video posted for those who like it.

​@@krielkip10 I agree with Gr4de; you're not "making smart use of game mechanics," you're making use of having the spare time to run the game at the most convenient times. "Tough luck" isn't the attitude that makes for a good speedrunning community. That said, you ARE right that you're more or less the only person attempting a run of this magnitude, so you can set whatever rules you want; the "official" rules are pretty tertiary when it's a one-man show. That said, I hope you adopt those rules for future runs, in the interests of making the run as accessible as possible.

Hey, great question - I didn't use them because I didn't think it was worth the time to farm gold for them, as they're not that strong. There's probably one or two in there that I should've gotten to make the final fight easier, but this worked anyways ;). Also, the problem with non-premium decals is that you'd have to buy new ones each time you replace a fighter. That makes it even more expensive if you wanna use them early game

i TAKE SO LONG to beat this game. to my opinion if u were to challenge the enemies instead of speed run on a certain floor, WAR ENSEMBLE is the hardest section of the tower and the enemies are too OP levelled. I spent death metal on every floor and I have the idea of speedrunning like u. Great video I can check the whole floor

Why is the timer counting your load times?

It's only fair to measure this sort of speed run in real time instead of actual playtime, because of the way R&D works. If the timer were to pause each time you go in a loading screen, the R&D timers still continue while the speed run timer won't. This would mean you can 'cheat' and skip waiting times by just spamming escalators for example.
