Big fan of Shut the hell up! Needs to be heard by so many people these days right! I have had a used SCX10 ll which a used hard body as my main rig for the last 14 and have just retired it so big fan. And now I am starting with an SCX10 III Bronco and it is getting a new hard body to be my new daily driver so we will see how it works out. RC Dungeon is a friend and his video style is the best. Love to see Axial adding in the scale details! What is there to bitch about?! People just don’t get the fact that cross compatibility is key with any manufacturing line. Cars aren’t all new platforms each year… why would RCs? 😅 Personally I like when a line/platform stays around a long time. Shows it’s tried and true and well supported on the aftermarket. I actually don’t like the fast pace of all new platforms. Hell, give us time to enjoy what we bought before you make us feel like it’s the “old” model guys! (RC companies) -Cheers, glad to see you back I action!!

@@gerrysoldguyreview and RC4WD now adding in all the upgrades out of the box that we so often do. Much more and without a price jump. Hell, Traxxas knows what’s up. TRX4 line is a solid contender for longevity as well. I know a lot of people don’t like the company, but the trucks are pretty bullet proof (minus electronics). My biggest problem with the hobby… well not really “with” the hobby… is that I want too many releases!!! A true affliction!

Even though it doesn’t specifically apply to any of the topics of the day here, I’ve been getting some comments and attention that have been grinding my gears a bit. I’ve got people pissing and moaning about my General Lee Ecto videos… people who obviously haven’t ever watched the Dukes Of Hazzard tv show. What really gets me is these people that cry about the flag want everyone to move on from the “civil war era issues”, yet those same people are legitimately the only people that keep bringing the topic up. The Dukes of Hazzard was legitimately a wholesome show that never once promoted any sort of hatred towards anyone. It is tough trying to defend one of the greatest shows/cars of all time, when the people who are carrying the torches and pitchforks are absolutely brainwashed into touting hatred, while crying about all the hatred. I’m not one to usually let people get under my skin, but I’ve been defending this car for as long as I can remember, with no avail. It is a toy car “replica” of a famous tv show car that is only meant to bring joy, entertainment, and a sense of nostalgia. Nothing more, nothing less… can’t we all just get along, watch the rooster tails, and enjoy seeing this beauty take flight?! There’s my Friday rant, hope ya have a great weekend man!

Some advice on the Vanquish S8E shocks, some of the rtr shocks leak like crazy, what i did was buy the S8E rebuild kit and immediately rebuild them from the factory, although i fidnt do it on the optic i also havent driven it the way i have my phoenix and ultra. The ultra had the double adjustable shocks and i couldn't get them to feel right so i changed to dravs, but the phoenix ive had it almost 2 years and haven't messed with the shocks yet i occasionally check fluid but after i did the initial rebuild theyve never leaked. I think its a good thing axial is giving the customers a variety of vehicles especially ghe CJ7 do i still wish theyd offer the 10.2 3 piece axle kit and 10.3 straight axle conversion yes but i also understand the market too, thats why i scour the Internet for stuff and swap meets. Small channels like you and hello and ez actually regularly interact with fans thats what makes me drawn to yall. Plus EZ is in the Carolinas and so am i so i always support the "locals" i like your videos because we have similar views on parts i dont care where it comes from used or new but ill use it at some point. Thats whats driving me to start a channel soon is my love for the hobby and getting to know people

@gerrysoldguyreview axial needs to release more trail truck kits, like they used to with the OG and 10.2. Id like to see variety come back like the wraith 1.9 etc. I enjoy the fact we got a CJ-7 although it's a little large. I miss being able to buy axial parts like the 3 piece 10.2 axles now it's all single piece. The 10.3 straight axle swap kit was great when it came out for the price, although I get it with the pro axles being basically the exact same why they discontinued that kit. Axial has been up and down since horizon got them

You can sand and paint 3d printed parts. But there is a limit with sanding. Normal all day used Pla (plastic to print) cannot stand uv light and rain a lot but it's a pain to sand. Sanding heats the print up so go slow and steady. To paint, prime it with a universal primer and go from there. But 3d prints have thin walls normally so you can't take much off. That truck bed you held up? Start with 180 or 200 grid and watch out how far you go. There are loads of types of plastics that can stand uv and rain, but they all come whit there own printing settings and problems.

It did out of the box, but I trimmed the servo using the instruction manuel. The book is layer out weird but full of helpful info for all this digital witchcraft!🤣🤣
