I love how big the bassoons range is. Im gonna be the only bassoonest in the whole intermediant band! SO HYPED FOR BASSOON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Does anyone here have any experience switching from saxophone to bassoon? If s can you tell me how the switch went, like from reading treble clef to reading bass clef?
@ericbahena85418 жыл бұрын
+Angel Ashrider I have actually! It relatively easy, any note you have on Treble Clef, will be either 1 space/line below the original note. So since and F in treble clef is on the very top line of the staff, in bass clef, it will be on the D line
@AngelAshrider8 жыл бұрын
+ericbahena That is easy way now that I look at it. I'm switch to.bassoon next month when my school gets one in and taking lessons. Then I will playing it during concert band. But I have to go through marching band with my sax and I'm afaid I may get a little mixed when switching instruments constantly.
@ericbahena85418 жыл бұрын
You won't i promise :D. I play the bassoon in concert band and the sax in jazz band and I don't get the different clefs mixed up. I promise that you'll be fine!

Mustache Necronimoku Haha I'm not sure I'm the one to give you tips because I'm not nearly a pro, but I can say you chose a wonderful instrument. Don't let the reeds/mouthpieces stress you out (although they can REALLY suck), And have a lot of fun!! Goodluck :)
