The message is more important than the number. Here is a man who has studied the bible for years so I am sure he knows the scripture but while speaking we attempt to recall and make occasional mistakes. As long as 2 Corinthians chapter 1 not 1 Corinthians change the path of one from heaven to hell, I do not see it as a problem.

Thank the Good Lord. A change has taken place. Ps. 27:11. We have to give what we don't get. My mom told me once, I'll never forget, "Vivian you have to fly high with the eagles or stay on the ground with the buzzards" I used to get mad that I always had to be the bigger person but not anymore. Bishop's message was powerful about forgiveness, mercy the comparison to the way Jesus is towards us, understanding that we all have been victims of someones, weakness and wickedness, knowing the difference and the way we respond to trouble and seeing certain individuals as he spoke of who we need to forgive and let it go. Boy I thank God for the message a healing balm. Jesus bless us all. I just love to see this mailman coming..PTL

I'm very grateful that he noted that we rarely preach or practice forgiveness. Mercy is one of the least things we see now. That should make us very uncomfortable. Because that's who we are (if you're actually saved). No one is perfect, but Christians should want to be loving, more than being in the clique, having money and prestige.

people? Now if anyone could have been a rich, popular, mega-church leader, charismatic, talented, loved by the world and the Christian community, and start a plethora of churches throughout the world, the Apostle Paul surely could have. But, Paul said,"Imitate me, just as I imitate the Lord" [1 Cor.11:1]; "Therefore be imitators of God dear children"[Eph.5:1]; "let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus" [Phil.2:5]. So according to the Bible, Jakes is imitating WHO, gullible ones?

Unforgiveness is like eating your own feces... It weighs you down...you can't fly... If you eat like a chicken you can not fly like an eagle. Eagles eat in HIGH PLACES...their vision can see for miles... Wings are 9 feet from tip to tip...they make love in the air (oh really)... They belong to the MILE HIGH CLUB... Big people see problems in proper perspective (ALWAYS TAKE THE HIGH ROAD)...they think like eagles. Little people think like Chickens...Chickens eat off the ground...sticks...corn and even their own feces (YUCK!!!) but guess what? We eat our own mess too... It's things we should release. When we keep eating what we should release it weighs u down. #SermonTweets

I don't know why people say Bishop Jakes is part of illuminati...I don't know if it's so..as long as he preaches the Word then he's done a huge part of his job description. ..he ministrers a Word then he explains what it means..like forgiveness.. using earthly examples with spiritual keys to open our ears, eyes & hearts. Jesus used parables as well..God bless you Bishop T.D. Jakes.

this is the easiest way for the devil to penetrate our very soul! he KNOWS that, to REALLY hurt us, will take family! who knows us better?!? i have been so tragically, deeply hurt by my own family that it took GOD to release me. once i understood it was not my fams but the enemy IN my fams, USING my fams to strike those fiery darts, then i cud look @ them and show mercy, for, they were just weak, some wer ignorant & didnt recognize the enemy when he raised his ugly head. hope this helps! xoxox

My brother, as I write I am praying with you that may God grant you the desires of your heart in Jesus' name. May the God of Nehemiah, the God of restoration, visit your home and marriage and restore it in Jesus' name. By the power of resurrection of the risen Christ, I speak life to whatever the enemy has killed in your life, marriage and family, right now in Jesus' name. Let love, peace and joy live again in your lives. By faith, I decree that the LORD is doing a new thing in your lives IJN.

@3:35 Bishop Jakes is referring to 2 Corinthians chapter 1. Not 1 Corinthians. All respect to the Bishop. But it's important for folks to open up the bible, not so much for knowledge sake, but to let the Holy Spirit intimately speak to a Christian in ways that Bishop Jakes cannot by way of the Spirit.
