The zoom effect is a great visual metaphor for what it feels like to be in a crowded city. @@yuiopa Okay so here are the chords from what i could hear. First things first this song is not in standard tuning, I could get pretty close to it by tuning to A = 426 Hz. First part is in D Major goes like this : |: Em9 | Gmaj9 | A13 | F#m9 Bm9 :| Transition part at 2:57 : | Em9 | % | A13 | % | | F#m7/A | F#7#5/A# | Gbmaj7/Bb | Ab/C | Final part : | Dmaj7 Bm7 | Gmaj7 C/E | Dmaj7/F# F#7b9 | A#°7 Bm | E7sus4 E7 | A7sus4 A7 A7sus4(b9) A7(b9) | | Dmaj7 Bm7 | Gmaj7 C/E | Dmaj7/F# F#7b9 | A#°7 Bm | E7sus4 E7 | Bb7sus4 Bb7 Bb7sus4(b9) Bb7 (b9) | Then you repeat the same thing again but 1 semitone up, only difference is that you will have a minor chord instead of the C/E chord for some reason, for example in Eb : | Ebmaj7 Cm7 | Abmaj7 Fm7 | ....... Hope that helps !

Don’t judge yourself by what you’ve achieved, but how you treat people, and don’t let anyone else tell you it’s not good enough. This is insane. I discovered Louis Cole about a month ago while staying in Noord Amsterdam. I listened to his albums every day while walking around and I'm just now watching this video and figuring out that parts of it were recorded exactly where I was walking through. The shots near Kebec Corner and in Buikslotermeerplein - my mind is blown, what are the odds?
I'm here cause our Namjoon.I was on my way home, past few days was horrible. I couldn't stop my tears while listening in the car to this song. It was so magical, peaceful it was everything just everything.. I feel like I can forgive I can forget every bad things in my life, my heartwarmed .. I'm thankful every day to god I'm sharing this sky with Namjoon. Maybe he will never know but when I need he always give me a hug through something. And this song was my hug . I'm so thankful for the creators who worked on this beautiful song that touched my heart . (I'm not native pls forgive me about my grammar mistakes)

You know, despite Louis Cole's eccentric persona in his presentations and some of his silly antics in songs he makes with KNOWER... His music and the lyrics therein sometimes reflect such raw and deep emotions, as well as intense existential musings. I think of his song Night as well. Who am I? Am I doing what I'm supposed to? Is there purpose to my life? Why do I feel emptiness in me? Do I even care about any of that to begin with? etc. It's a beautiful thing to see an artist genuinely write and sing about these things, especially in an era where few mainstream artists write with such depth. Those topics are becoming less and less important to the average person (in my humble opinion); things like purpose are so diluted in our modern era of comfort and technology. In the Western world, we're in the top 1/10th of 1 percent of the wealthiest people that have ever lived. Just makes you think, are some not wrestling with these questions anymore because we've gotten _too_ comfortable? Even if lyrics aren't the main point of Louis Cole (his music is insane), it's just something I wanted to observe and appreciate about you, Louis. Thank you for being genuine and expressing yourself.

100%!! This is what takes Louis Cole’s music several hundred notches above other similar “musical” artists (Snarky, Vulf, Jacob Collier etc) is the heart and emotional value in the lyrics. Not many artists wear their emotions so openly, especially in this particular scene. Really takes makes me think of amazing songwriters, not just “arrangers”. There’s also the fact that Louis stays within the boundaries of taste and doesn’t needlessly jazz his music up, there’s a concept and a range of ideas he stays within harmonically and compositionally within a song and yeah, the dude has great taste.

Louis Cole makes 2 types of songs: absolute bops that you want to dance to until you collapse, and absolute tear-jerkers that will make you cry until you collapse.

@@nilssonschmillson5395 Don't think you really need to slag off other artists to praise Louis, "fun" and "joy" are important emotions that make life worth living. All three of those artists also have good, "more serious emotional" songs. I don't think Louis would really fuck with you fanboy gatekeeping either, considering he's buddies with and has played with all of those artists. Just like what you like.

The uplifting part of this song starts 4:45. The part with the violin is inspiration from higher level of the consciousness. I almost start crying 😭. God bless you all. 🙏❤️

Greatest idea of a music video I’ve ever seen. Also I cried so hard the first like 5 times I ever watched this. Louis Cole is a mastermind, a renaissance man (without the syphilis), a true musical idiosyncrasy in the world today, and free therapy all in one tall white package.

I would like to say how much I appreciate the fact that you stood likely a 1/4 mile away or more from the camera and sang that song, whether in its entirety or in part, over and over again...for us. I have had your music in my head ever since I discovered you and knower and that other band of clowns. Thank you!
