Notice it could be a lot easier because not all frets are needed for the fingerpicking pattern: Am: only need index and ring fingers G: only middle finger Em: NOTHING!!! (Use this time to prepare for the hammer on) F: Thumb, index and middle fingers only! Have fun :D

Just use Am for the F. It sounds the same and you don’t have to change the chord

Why would I need my ring finger to play the notes for G? It's on the sixth sting, and that is not being played under G.
