Carly asked him and he said that he is taking his medication. She went and got the bottles and checked them and she told Jason that it looks like Sonny is telling the truth. The question that everyone should be asking is this. When are people going to look at the way that Sonny is acting and the fact that Ava is living with him and think of Morgan. I know that it wasn't Ava that tampered with his medication but thinking that will get them investigating which will lead them to the truth. Sonny is only getting 1/5 of his prescribed dose.

They didn't know why he got that way just that he did and they needed to protect him. What makes me mad is that they know that he is acting like he is off of his medication and Ava is living with him. They know what she did to Morgan so why is it taking them so long to figure out that his medication has been tampered with.

He talked about how these scenes were difficult to film but he wanted to show the reality of being bipolar. On Twitter Maurice Benard responded to a lot of comments both thanking him for the storyline and those that said it was too intense. He said he knows it’s controversial but he emphasizes that the reality is “Bipolar ain’t pretty” (quoted from his tweets). The scenes today bad me in tears and I think it great he’s using his character to aid in spreading awareness of the struggles of living with Bipolar Disorder. I think Maurice having Bipolar Disorder himself and knowing first hand what it’s like living with it along with the struggles he’s gone through is what makes it such an important storyline and one that Maurice definitely killed it with his emotional execution. I'm sure I'm supposed to feel sorry for Kristina, but I don't. First of all, I have a hard time believing this is the first time Kristina has ever seen her father violent. And even if be some grace of God it is, she was already aware he was capable of something like this. He violently assaulted Cyrus on New Year's AND ordered Dex to kill him, both of which Kristina knows. Kristina has been going around town, defending Sonny to everyone, getting hostile at the mere suggestion of staying away from Sonny at least while she's pregnant. Her reaction to TJ for reminding her that Curtis was shot when someone was trying to kill Sonny was appalling. She had absolutely no compassion for why he would be concerned for her physical safety after something like that. And even though she's horrified right now, she'll probably still make excuses for Sonny later. Meanwhile, I'm so tired of Sonny and his betrayal crap. So what Dex was working for Michael? Doesn't that mean Sonny should be mad at Michael? Why is he assaulting Dex? If Dex were a threat to Sonny he'd already be in prison for the first time Sonny assaulted him. Sonny always operates in these him against the world narrative and it's exasperating.
