Live performance of "Let me in" written by me, Braedon Quarles. Nobel Community Hall, January 11th, 2025.
This was a blast! If you enjoyed this song, leave me a like and subscribe for more!
Video/Sound recorded by Aiden Martin. A true wizard behind the lens! I'm fortunate to have teamed up with him on this. On top of weddings, and gigs for local businesses, he also offers showreels as one of his services.

It was a cold night, and I was very grateful to have so many people brave the winter weather. But when it's so cold and dark, I think that's when music shines the brightest and when it can warm your bones most!
If you were one of the folks with me that night, thanks so much! Did you have a favourite song? Leave a comment below.
We raised some money for Strings Across the Sky as well! This group is a wonderful non-for-profit that teaches group fiddle lessons using donated fiddles. It tries to provide the opportunity/experience to kids regardless of household income. Musical instruments and lessons are not cheap. Strings Across the Sky relies on community donations in order to keep the wheels on the road. But the donations have an impact far greater than one lesson. When someone learns to play music, they gain the ability to communicate through feeling without the limitations of spoken word. Something that can bring people together despite language barriers, class, or ideology... this sounds an awful lot like magic to me.

Thanks to Deb Jones for helming SATS and for her continued support of my own music.
Thanks to Aiden Martin for his skill and intuition behind the camera, as well as his video editing expertise!
Additional thanks go out to my mom Jani, and Dr. Jon Collins. They helped with the amazing set design, and their help really made that place feel cozy :)
Stay warm friends,
bq
