Selena Gomez releases blushes everyone exclaims “omg! How great for people with disability and issues with grip! How inclusive!” Colourpop releases product in similar packaging “omg! They are copying everything!” As a person with grip issues, I was so excited to see this release from colourpop. Everyone is releasing liquid/cream blushes with doe foot applicator in pretty much all the same shades. I was excited for this packaging. If someone innovates a more accessible packaging, by all means, please copy it.

I think, honestly, colourpop's grip is cuter. Like, it is objectively cuter and cheaper than Rare Beauty. And I think even the Rare Beauty colors are not original by any means. Like, stop making me defend colourpop of all people lmfao. And I don't even think all of the colors are exact.

What’s even funnier is that the top of the Rare Beauty blushes wasn’t even made for people with disability issues. It was an assumption someone made that got turned into a big thing and at first Rare Beauty didn’t deny it. Then they finally came out and confirmed they didn’t make it that way intentionally

For the Gloss Gods palettes, I think you should include them in one of your "trying 4 new indie palettes" videos, but count the Gloss Gods collection as one palette and use a number generator to select one shade from each and do a look with that 🥰

The yellow brushies are the best! That’s what my 5yo daughter calls them, “mama’s yellow brushies” 😂 now they’re my yellow brushies. Literally so effing good, I’m going to have to get a couple more sets for my professional MUA kit! So far I just have my one personal set and couldn’t be happier, especially with those two little blending brushes! They’re so perfect, I often can’t stand big blending brushes because they don’t work for my eye shape. I love that she made two of the tiny crease brushes😊

The "dropper" packaging that DM used I actually saw, and have, in the Rituel de Fille in their 3 drop foundation (that came out first). It always surprises me that people forget that there are only so many companies that make packing or even formulate makeup - there's always going to be some overlap.

I first saw that packaging on the serum foundation from Ritual De Fille last summer. Then I saw the DM product. And I read that Clarins also uses it? I love this packaging and wish more products used it because it really helps deliver the perfect amount with no mess to clean up.

Rituel de Fille has their 3 drop foundation in a similar packaging to the Hourglass/ Danessa Myricks and that was released last year. They probably paid a premium to have it be in black not gold to match their branding, but clearly that component has been making the rounds.

The creaseless Tarte Shape tape concealer was in a long skinny rectangular doe foot packaging the lid was a dark purple lid with purple and gold sponge-looking flowers. This looks like a reformulation launch to keep up with all the hydrating concealers dropping and on the market in they have no other product in the lineup that fits that to keep up with the times and to offer a hydrating concealer in their line up! I hope they stay in the lab a long time on this one because that old formulation was the furthest thing from creaseless I have ever seen in my entire life. I don’t know how it went through testers panels, etc., and still distributed. With that name
