So I've finally got around to mustering up a comment for this video, and I honestly want to let you know how fantastic your cover of this song is. This is probably my favorite song by Mac DeMarco and I hold it very dear to my heart. To hear you perform this so beautifully is truly a sight to behold. I've listened to your rendition of this song at least 30-40+ times now, and I've played it in a wide range of different emotions. I've played this while I was angry, I've played this while I've felt morose; and every time I finish the your cover I honestly feel elated. It's like a friendly reminder that in the end, everything will be okay, because if it's not then it's not the end! I'm disappointed in that one thumbs down, but there will always be people like that; different strokes for different folks. I remember the day I first heard this song. Not the cover, but the original song by Mac. I didn’t know the song at all, and I searched for it for months. After a long while of looking through friends spotify playlists and KZbin suggestions, I finally found it. I heard it all the way through and immediately fell in love with it. I listened to it nonstop for days. After a few days of keeping it on repeat on KZbin, this video shows up in my suggestions. I don’t usually like covers, but I decided to give it a try. I felt moved. Mesmerized. You gave it a completely different meaning to me. That sounds a little deeper than it should be, but I swear to my own beliefs that this changed me. It made me notice every vibration of a guitar. It made me notice every edge of the clouds in the morning. It made me notice the potential I have for myself. This cover of this song made me realize how beautiful my life is. And how beautiful the world is, despite how corrupt it is. Thank you.
