Let non-bumi in cardiothoracic course temporarily, says ex-UiTM VC

A former chairperson of the Universiti Teknologi Mara board of directors has voiced support for the institution to temporarily open up its cardiothoracic surgery training to non-Bumiputera medical officers.
Ibrahim Shah Abu Shah said UiTM cannot leave these students in limbo for the nation’s interest as Malaysia lacks specialist doctors in this field.

Dr M claimed some years ago that non-bumis accounted for 90% of the total income tax paid in Malaysia. This is one of the many end results non-bumis enduring in this country. I believe this course is offered with cooperation of IJN which is funded by taxpayers' money. It was a mistake to have this programme with a universitiy that will not accept non-bumi. I think it is time for IJN to work with another university.

@@norzainimohd-zain1325 No one can give citizenship to anyone. The non bumi are born here and so are citizens. This is their rights, otherwise, they will become non state. They are not born in any other country. Did the migrants whose children are born in UK or America had to thank those countries for giving them citizenship. They are automatically citizens of those countries if they are born there. So, if all non bumi not given citizenships, they can become beggars and cannot work, so no need to pay taxes. So, Malaysia can't become rich if this is so. Countries want to give citizenships so that they can collect taxes. It is not for free and no need to work hard. With citizenships also you need to work hard and pay taxes. No one is going to give you free meals, free housing, free vehicles, free businesses and free education.

Ex-Uitm Head say that Uitm is the only University in Malaysia who has Cardiothoracic Surgery Program, what a good government that exclude non Bumiputera from becoming Cardiothoracic Surgeon in Malaysia. Wonder that those Government Policy Makers ever received treatment from Non Bumiputera Doctor or not, if they have they should reject the medicine and treatment that they get as they should be treated only by Uitm Doctor.

Better don’t go to this local university for Medical Study, previously my Malay office staff who was pregnant for 7 weeks went to one of these Klinik Baiduri for consultation, the doctor gave her a jab, the next day she had a miscarriage 😰 she said she will never ever consult a Malay doctor anymore, these Malay students are afraid of competition if other races enrolled in their faculty because Malay students don’t treat study seriously because they can easily graduate without having to study hard, they are playing most of the time in the campus unlike other races who have to study hard to pass.

From my POV better dont offer any seat to non - bumi since the current generation already did a protest and they are not able to accept others than their race to share the education better dont provide anything. Who knows what kind of surrounding the "temporary students" might facing inside the campus.
