The way Jaybz explained why the bathroom issue being such a talking point is dangerous, I understand why Alexis felt the way she did given her experience. That being said, that talking point is absolutely used to fear monger the general public who don’t understand transitioning or the lgbt community as a whole. I love this show!

Note to Jaybies- putting it on the state takes it away from the individual. With Roe v Wade in place any person at where had access- the government didn’t have say so on any level. Putting it on the state still puts it under governmental control- just State government. There are a few states now where abortion access is being denied- that was determined by the Supreme Court which was stacked by DJT. And there are more than a few states where abortion access has already been denied. As of December 11, 2023, 14 states have banned abortion: Alabama, Arkansas, Idaho, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, and West Virginia with no exception for rape, incest or medical necessity.
