Kishane Thompson and Noah Lyles are the most promising to me since neither of them ran even CLOSE to their perfect races in paris. Id say Kishane thompson is ever so slightly faster than Lyles but Lyles executes better on the big stage

I want Noah to focus even harder on the 200. So so much potential with his 19.31 then started to work on his 100 and hasn’t been as fast in the 200 based on competition times

@gaatro_barticles516 Noah will never get back to 19.31 because he did it when he was 24 years old and he will be 28 next season and most athletes never repeat their best race..

It will be interesting to see what he does with the 200M. I thought his comments/cynicism around people not caring about the 200M might be telling but we'll see. I think the next 4 years will be the greatest of his career.

He already setting the stage to walk away from track and field if things doesn’t go well for him this season those young Jamaicans in the 100M and the young African in 200M is going to be a problem for him Noah is safe in none of the discipline come next season..

Coach can I say that I LOVE your "focus" for your channel (even if I dont always agree with your takes lol). There are countless channels by people who focus on and favor their own national athletes, constantly disrespecting ours. I honestly get annoyed at American apologists bending over backwards to appease critics/haters when they're focusing on our athletes. Your coverage is in general very respectful and balanced.

So many injuries over the last 2-3yrs to Trayvon (9.76), Ronnie (9.83), Marvin (9.85) who last ran in Sep '23 & Cravont (9.90), be good to just see them back healthy next yr. Will Noah even run @Trials or run one or both 100/200m given his 2 Wildcards (like he did with the 200m @'22 Trials)? From '25 going fwd, WCs are going to be 9-Lane Semis & Finals in every event up to & inc the 800m, so if 9.85 Paris OLY Jacobs turns up, he should make that 9-Lane Final (ran his 3rd, 4th, 5th & 6th fastest times all in '24), as should a 9.83 Zharnel who won '23 WC 100m Bronze but got injured in '24. 13:35; 😂 Way too confident thinking the facts were on your side when a decent point about Jacobs was being made (since indoors were briefly brought up, he beat Coleman for 60m Gold in 6.41 @'22 World Indoors). So apparently 23yr old 9.77 Kishane literally 0.005s away from OLY Gold in his 1st Global 100m Final doesn't warrant a WC podium place ahead of 23yr old 9.81 Oblique who finished 4th, 4th & 8th in his last 3 WC/OLY 100m Finals?! Make it make sense...Way too early predictions to make '25 Tokyo WC M100m Final; 3 USA (Noah, Fred & Kenny), 2 JAM (Kishane & Oblique), 2 AFR (Tebogo & Simbine) & 2 EUR (Zharnel & Jacobs).

@AllinTheGame01 Why didn’t you stick to your original thought? It’s not guarantee that 29 year old Fred Kerley will make the US team for WC and the same thing for Akeem Blake he might be the 3rd person behind Kishane and Oblique because they are all young and in their prime..

Seville can’t run rounds. The injury had nothing to do with it. Just excuses. He has one good round in his legs at major championships. If he learns how to manage his rounds better he will challenge for gold. Just because he looks relaxed doesn’t mean he isn’t exerting a lot of effort. Go watch Asafa Powell at any major championship you will see the same pattern.

@MacheMprrison People was saying the same thing about Kishane Thompson that he couldn’t run rounds and he prove all the people that saying it was wrong in Paris.. Oblique Seville enter the Olympic Nursing an injury to which he went straight to Germany for treatment 2 weeks before the Games in Paris which he re-aggravated during the rounds, So this idea that he cannot run the rounds is bogus because he made the WC finals both times since he was 20 years old…

What's the big event(s) of '25? The colleges have their Nationals but what's there for the pros besides the Diamond League. Michael Johnson's league is a year away, right? What's there to put the best vs the best? It doesn't seem that these top 1-5 of each event are there to challenge each other on a regular basis.

That Kendal Williams point in retrospect to Gout Gout was weak in no way was Kendal's times or eye test wise measure up to Gout. The kid is in that Mondo/Syd class as a kid or tier below slightly. Go back and watch Mondo and Syd as kids and you'll see the same dominance they do now as adults, Gout is on that trajectory only reason why folk lacking belief because he's from Australia otherwise y'all eating it up if he was from the US/Jamaica

@SCATrackandField 17 сағат бұрын
I respect your opinion. But this is a sport where you compete against people in the other lanes. Kendal beat the NCAA 100M champion as a high school senior. Which is impressive by any measure. To be honest, not 1 man in the Olympic 100M final this year is listed as having a top 10 time as an under 18 athlete. Youth accomplishments matter. But history does not seem to suggest it is a simple carry over that being the best at one age, makes you the best later on. It does however get you in the conversation with the best in the world earlier. Which is exactly where Gout Gout is now. He is in the conversation as one of the world's great up and coming talents. But it is asking a lot to consider him the "NEXT" Usain when he has yet to run a pro race, and did not win "EVERYTHING" amongst junior athletes he could even this year. Time will tell, if he is in fact the next greatest ever. And if he does, I will certainly give him the flowers for doing so.
