Hot take: I wouldn't mind a college football game coming out once every 2-3 years if it means a better quality game, and devs not having to crunch time. We survived with ncca 14 for almost a decade. Waiting 2-3 years is nothing at this point. Just update CF25 with roster updates and add small features like mascot mode later on until 2026-27.

I like that. But I think ea should just bite the bullet and pay more money for a second or third development team. Have group A work on 26 while group B/C work on 27 and 28. That way each game that would come out every year would have a 2/3 year development time. EA would be paying more but they will still make billions off of “mut”. It’s not like CoD where everyone’s working on completely different games but using the same engine. These teams would constantly be building off each other but also doing their own thing. I'm skeptical. He's hitting all the same talking points the other EA influencers do and constantly talking about how his "EA sources" are getting him hyped. And then just quickly glosses over how even EA's carefully crafted clips have bugs, repetitive animations, etc. There are lot of things in the trailer that he would've ripped apart in the past if it were Madden. If EA paid him to read off a script they wrote for him, I don't think it would sound much different than this.

I’m a 26 year old rugby fan from Ireland and in 2013 by chance when I was bored and looking for a sports game to fill the void of a lack of rugby game I stumbled across ncaa 14 on the psn store and have been hooked on the game and the sport of American football since. In the modern generation, video games are a massive avenue to gain new fans in new markets like Europe which is why I’m so shocked that the nfl, who have done a great job of growing the game in Europe, have allowed madden to be so bad. If I had bought madden 14 instead of ncaa 14 I definitely would have never even gotten into American football. One small thing I noticed about this video is the new kick metre is the same as the EA sports rugby 08 kick meter for conversion and penalties haha

As this game was announced in 2022 to be in development, I would assume it’s been in the works or spoken about among devs since 2021. So that’s around 2-3 years of development time, instead of less than 12 months that go into a yearly release of madden. This needs to be the best football game released since PS3 era games. It may cause a seismic shift and maybe create a situation of bi-yearly releases. I’d hope most people would be happy with constant updates for a 2 year cycle while they flesh out a new game. And sure a 2 year window would make for even more profit in MUT and Ultimate team in respective games, as consumers would have 2 years to sink their time or money into a team. Rather than this year cycle where all work is thrown away when a new game is released unless the player decides to not buy the new game. Really pulling for this game to be a quality release.

You know what they say “talk is cheap” that rule goes triple for EA but theres been too many content creators come out and say they’ve enjoyed the game for it not to be good I’m just glad NCAA 13 recruiting system is returning 14s felt way too easy and bland

@@crimsonchin8916 it has pitch grades and managing time like in ncaa 11 but no random roll instead you call the prospect and you are able to “make a pitch” “compare schools” or “sway interest” if you are a school like the umass minutemen 5 star athletes ridicule you for even calling them but overtime if you are a winning program your school becomes more established and competitive this system was amazing as it felt like you were building up a college while winning football but fans complained it was too complicated and so the point system in ncaa 14 happened

@@crimsonchin8916there was no random roll stuff after scouting the players for 100% you can see if they are “busts””gems” or “just as advertised” what I loved the most is when your school had success the athletic facilities would get better like you were building history

Definitely buying this game. Can't wait to play with my Oklahoma Sooners. Me and my girlfriend are both gamers and we are definitely gonna buy this game but she's most likely gonna beat me because she has been beating me in video games since we was little kids 😂

For reference, my buddy had a problem with his players being fatigued at the end of the season, but I never did. I also always ran my practices and split practice with half pads all season long as well. He often didn't practice and just skipped it, causing his players to be fatigued and mine weren't. So maybe a little bit of realism that EA put in that a lot of us missed?

Reusing animations from animations from madden is a huge red flag.

Well they are using the same engine. It makes no sense not to use assets if they are available.

I mean I don’t mind it as long as it’s reasonable animations. I don’t really see COD using different death animations in multiplayer a whole ton. I have an issue if they only reuse animations, don’t make new ones, and keep in ones that don’t really work well.

I think the best way to describe what we’re seeing from the gameplay is that it actually delivers on the features Madden has tried to market over the years and failed. Abilities are refined but not broken, passing mechanics look to be actually accurate, and home field advantage isn’t broken either. If the devs deliver on everything they’ve said so far, this will easily be the best EA football game since the PS3/360 days

I don’t understand how after seeing this, people (and a certain KZbinr) can still call it a reskin and that anyone who says otherwise “sold out.” I’m not saying this game will get perfect, but it gets to a point of nitpicking where it’s less about being critical and wanting improvement and more about just hating

With that being said, I am excited for this game and seeing as how I have not played a Madden since 2008, I will not recognize any of the used animations

If there's any missing features or stuff that's not in this game I seriously hope that they put it out there for the future but if this game is good when it comes to gameplay and Dynasty and Road to Glory and many more then I just hope they can copy and paste whatever they can for this game franchise to continue growing because I am glad that we're getting back college football

It will have UT and will be the same pay to win stuff but it is on the player if they want to play that, of course that is in the case the gameplay is good and it is fun to play offline unlike madden that makes sure players only want the online competitive

@@drknjayytellem5179you didn’t read the blog then. There’s entire coverage disguises you can set up preplay in the menu as well as changing each formation to have one high or two high looks regardless of play.

After the first trailer I was bummed cuz it looked exactly like madden but after the deep dives, the game seems so deep. Create a team and custom realignment will be so fun for dynasty. July 16 can’t come soon enough. But I guess let’s also be cautious because it may be a buggy mess as ea games usually are
