You have to put the tour signs at a good viewing spot to see the animals. Otherwise the guests complain a lot 😂 And yes - guests do donate when they tour. The intermission error saying its too far is a glitch that I get too. Hopefully they fix it soon😊

I love these new additions to the exhibits. My local zoo in Fort Wayne Indiana has a massive Amazon dome that has a fruit bat, many butterflies and tropical fish. It has always been my favorite part of the zoo.

your comment about petting zoos! I sure hope they do!! I have one zoo that I want to redo, was basically a walk thru only sort of zoo and to have kids feed some of the animals, or animals stop to sniff people that were walking. Little pets, the guests feeding them either good or bad food (sneakily) all those sorts of interactions would be awesome to see. A lot to code and add in, but awesome to see. ♥ we can hope lol Love the butter fly house!! I love how lush it is.

A few tips: 1. It might be more efficient to create work zones for your mechanics and security guards. I know they are patrolling the entire zoo, but since it is a larger one, they may be over patrolling in some areas and neglecting others just by random chance. Perhaps make work zones based on the continental regions and assign 1-2 for each. You can still have 1-2 floaters in your everything roster just in case. I would also recommend adding a caretaker to your shops rosters and just expanding the area to cover the tables and bins near the shops so they are more efficiently picking up garbage in the areas that have more. 2. I would recommend adding either a Sun Bear or a Formosan Bear, as you don’t have any bears yet. 3. Since the only Australian animal is your cassowaries, we need another one! I’d suggest the Dingo since you only have the foxes for a canid so far. Either that or the wombats or wallabies from the new packs.

You need to adjust the tour guide's duties so they're only doing zoo tours, that way they won't run off to do other things when they should be resting. :)

Thats so beautiful again. We have Peacock Butterflies and Swallowtail Butterflies here in germany too. Peacocks most in early spring, but summer too. 'Swallowtail I have seen only one time in my life and that was in Austria on the top of a mountain. They come there (high mountains, high tree tops to find a partner I have read. Can't wait for play Planet Zoo too, but have not an own PC who is strong enough for this game. So I have to wait till a cohabitant give me his Notebook for a time again. Have give him 75 Euro for steam version with all DLCs. Sorry for offtopic. Your Zoo is so much beautful. I#m a good Planet-Zoo-Gardener too, but your garden and Buildings are just stunning! And you are sooo happy with it!

Yeah, out of everything in the game so far that's possible to do, I feel the option for people to walk in the habitat and interact is underused and honestly hard to make work. There's only a handful of animals where that's possible, and some of that number are shy and would stress them out, so it's a neat idea that hasn't really worked terribly well in practice. Maybe this is how they're working on other ways for the visitors to interact, the educators holding the animals during exhibit talks is another way they're trying to help. The petting zoo concept is... okay, but it kinda flies in the face of the point being about conservation. What I would like to see is a more interactive version of Animal Talks, ones more in line with enrichment and checkups with the animals. Like an educator and either a keeper or vet at the right level, the educator talking about the activity while the keeper/vet motivates animals with treats to give them a visual checkup. It could work both as education for visitors and a social boost for the animals.

I'm guessing that the guests complaining about walking too much isn't really something we need to be concerned with? Your talent is astounding. Everything you build is touched with the beauty of the 'natural' world. However! So big and all that pathing. I can't imagine you have any guests that leave without having the complaint of too much walking. I've done everything I can think of to stop that complaint to no avail. After watching this video and seeing how gorgeous your creations are... I don't think I care about that complaint anymore! 😂

I build my first butterfly house the other day - and it does bring in so much money. At some point I just set the managment to sell them right away. Even tho I'll miss some albinos and stuff if I don't do it myself after checking the list first. (The white monarchs are so pretty!) So the management tool is handy. But. BUT! We get a notification everytime a butterfly had offspring and it drove me crazy. I wasn't able to focus on anything. Then I ignored the notifications and missed other important ones. So I deletet the exibit cause that's not worth it. Frontier needs to let us choose what animal notifications we get or not. I know there are some settings but not for exibit animals (and the settings we have do not even work... or I don't understand them...).

maybe i misswed it in the speed build or just dont know becaue i haven't built walkable exhibits yet but how you made it that the exhibit walls/boundaries are "invisible"? additionally i like to mention that not all of these butterflies are actually tropic: European Peacock, Monarch, Old World Swallowtail are from moderate climates.

Hi Madelaine 😘 all you get via instant gaming is a key to redeem on steam, so its the same game as buying it directly via steam 😊 So it doesnt matter if you have base game or a few packs directly via steam 😊 Game via Instant Gaming will appear in your library just like any other game 😘

I was wondering if you could build this dome as a tutorial? I did watch your dome tutorial which you posted 3 years ago, but I specifically would like to learn this one. I did slow it down completely, but I just can't seem to get these hexagons to match or to match them with the walls. I watched it in slow-mo about 100 times now and tried for 2 hours but I cannot get it to fit 😔

So, you can place butterflies only in the square walkthrough exhibit, and not in a custom build? (Unlike the bats)

Both the bats and butterflies use the same large exhibit. You can select the null wall option if you want a custom build, but it will always have the rectangle base.
