You corrected the gauge snake! Amazing job Border, amazing job! The whole craft looks really potent, although I will sugest that you reconsider the armouring, I think that you might be better with replacing some outer shell alloy with wood, or inner shell aloy with some metal corners or triangles, gets slightly heavier, but it gets MUCH cheaper! For everything else, it is really well made, it is fairly well protected at the front (which is the only inportant part tbh), it is redundand, it has insane firepower and it isnt all that expensive either! Great job!

You should try making them railguns hybrids, kind of like what awelner does. Give them a small power reserve, and put it all towards accuracy. That way they can get insane accuracy, without sacrificing fire rate. I do it for all of my craft, and it works really really well. You definitely have enough engine power and space. Also I would recommend switching to 4 meter shells (like the kobald) as they give far more bang for your buck, and so you can spam them. Also, I am sure you realize, but definitely add a few more layers of armor under and on top, a few repair bots, and possibly a lams system.

Yup yup yup. The Kobold does spit out 8m shells by the way: 2 8m 500mm guns, and 2 4m 250mm guns.

Oh just had another thought. A belt blaster in the nose of that thing with a timed fuse controlled to fire by acbs would be VERY effective in that build. You can rig it to shoot down missiles I did something similar on a laser gunship I can send you the BP if you wanna see.

I hate how the muzzle brakes in this game look, they just get too wide for high caliber guns, and I really wish there were some more styles of smaller ones or something. I end up rarely using them because they break up the look of a ship too much, even when the ship has high recoil.

IR missiles needed a buff but having to dump large missile flares for a billion ammo isn't really a good thing either. You also need a full set of ejectors on surface vessels to get it any distance from them, I might just start using thrusters with internal fuel only.

You and BW got bamboozled, it's not IR that's the issue. These missiles have signal processors. Countermeasures don't work well against those.

If you are aware, Ir cameras have the fastest detection rate out of all the detection, crafts also natutally give out 100m of IR i believe, so Ir missiles are for small agile crafts that turn too quickly which could be countered with flak guns so thats why people dont really use em
