I do wanna say for anyone who doesnt know. Reichheart uninterupted is a triheart if you run visas. Normal reichheart add arrival link into bobblehead add field, field add visas, visas pop bobble head special visas special bobble head from grave, activate arrival for reichheart(you now have 3 mats) link bobble head into bobble head(yes you can go link 1 into link 1 if its in the main monster zone lol) add a 2nd field spell for follow up link into triheart and thats all just from reichheart. I hope everyone enjoys this deck as much as i do

Visas(level 6 tuner) and reichheart are also light and dark respectively and make a nasty barrone combo or chaos angel

Actually, any main deck Scareclaw, except Scareclaw Kashtira, can make Tri-Heart if uninterrupted. Acro/Astra/Belone normal summon, go to Lightheart, Lightheart gets field, field gets Reichheart, Reichheart gets Arrival, Arrival gets your Acro/Astra/Belone back, now you have 3 material for Tri-Heart. Reichheart normal summon, grab Arrival, go to Lightheart, grab one of the Level 3s (usually Belone), special your level 3/use arrival for Reichheart (these steps are interchangeable), then do the other interchangeable step and you get Tri-Heart. Fun thing is the second combo can reborn your Belone and grab your Astra to special summon itself for 2 piercing attacks, or Acro if you really need attack.

He really underplayed the fact that Visas is a Tuner, because it means you have total access to the entire Level 9 and 10 Synchro pools, which even putting aside Baronne, you have a ton of great tools.

There's also visas samsara in the tcg that has opens even more synchro visas lines :) i think hardleg underplays how good visas is in the deck, it's not inherently obvious but it has a ton of neat synergies that make it a strong card in the deck

One of the better options is absolutely Chaos Angel. Visas is a light monster, Reichheart is a dark. Put them together, you have even more protection

I absolutely adore playing Scareclaw with generic rank 3 extenders like Junk Forward, Kagemucha Knight, Gallis and E-tele targets like Psychic Wheeleder, and Tracker. The best part about this deck is that it can make some really nice boards with nothing but a full hand of monsters, so you're often running as few spell/traps as possible as long as those spell/traps don't get you to more monsters. Found a lot of success with Burning Abyss as well even if it can be a little awkward for recovery and extra deck packages like the new water Xyz one are incredibly easy for you to access. I've even tried out a few OTK builds around Sekka's Light to just give you more cards since you really don't need any of the spells, just more monsters

Arrival is not a once per turn so it's a three of also the usual line is to get Reichheart when you have at least two defense position monsters (or your opponent has some) and search arrival and draw. The deck also works well with Tri-Brigades and Mannadium. Defanging and Straddle are pretty bad in most instances but can have niche applications. They're definitely the first ones to cut out when putting in better tech picks.

Straddle isn’t really that bad. I very often run into something where straddle was a great help. It’s just that there are better options that come up more than straddle, but it’s by no means bad. I always say to add 1 if you have the space for it but no more, just so you have the option of searching it if you already have what you need in your starting hand. Which is often the case since scareclaw needs very little to get going

The only thing scary about Scareclaw is all the different build options it has as a Visas lore archetype. It's also one of the few that gets to search its own field spell, so there's that.

Really missed these. By the way, fun fact: all the level 3 dogs are named after specific phobias referenced in their designs (fear of sharp objects, heights, and lightning). However, the one card in the deck that has “Phobia” in the name, the field spell… isn’t. “Reichphobia” isn’t an official term used for any fear.

Well, the Field spell is the domain, the realm (Reich in German) of the phobias. It wouldn't be sensible for that to be named after another fear. Edit: on second thought, Reichphobia could be the fear of Reichheart.

Two words: Rescue Cat. Also, slightly more than two words: as beasts this deck pairs super well with Tri-Brigade, and playing that engine solves both the problem of having few monsters AND the problem of "well what the heck else do I put in the extra deck?" at the same time.

What do you do when they imperm your rescue cat? It is the best one card starter but I can't afford my normal summon to be negated and then pass turn! We can't go into light heart with rescue cat!

@@MadaraR6 Yeah rescue cat can get impermed. So can Reichheart, Lightheart, even Triheart. Primitive planet can be ashed, Arrival can be ghost belled; most cards can lose to hand traps. I really don't think "this card loses to hand traps" is a reason to not play the card. Especially if that card is a one-card-combo that lets you access your entire deck.

@JackRabbit9181996 while very true and I am agreeing with your comment, I still believe optimally normal summoning any of my scareclaw starters and climb even if my Reicheart or light heart get ashed or impermed I still have more of a board and potentially have either one arrival or planet in hand Now to still climb into tri heart opposed to potentially just rescue cat on field and pass

That continuous spell is really neat. Having a protection like that stops the stops the usual puts to tri heart (usually druiswyrm for me) or imperm. Such a cool deck

Honestly, while Scareclaw's design is very fitting and translates fear and intimidation pretty neatly into gameplay, the scariest archetype is probably Kshatrira because they take all your stuff away for basically ever. Outright zonelocking is also a harder restriction than Level Limit Area B combined with a selective Skill Drain. Every Link deck can handle the latter pretty well but there's yet to come a deck operating _entirely_ out of the hand, the graveyard, or the banish zone without ever touching the field.

I like the idea of learning a new deck with you. Yugioh seems to make so many new archetypes and reading all of them get a bit tiring. Plus seeing the cards play out help a lot to visually learn and it’s just enjoyable to watch. Hope you keep this up.

My fondest memories with this deck was when playing in master duel i got annoyed by floos. Decided to make a king tiger wanghu variant where i run trib claw with airborne assault to bring wanghu since airborne assault only negates it until the end of the turn so you can safely play yourself under wanghu. Plus the deck loves rescue cat anyways which fetches kitt as well so you can get some sick boards.

A lot of Scareclaw Engine builds play Visas at 1 because you can search it with the field spell, pop the Lightheart to later bring it out since Visas is on the field, and then special it back while he's there to get 2 of the 3 things you need for making Tri-Heart on the field. After the Link-1's used its once per duel effect, you're free to banish it with the Kashtira one if you want. Also a good ratio for the "Kashtira" components is 1 of their planet, 1 Scareclaw and as many Fenrirs as allowed. If that gets you 3 cards total or less(i.e. Fenrir is banned in the OCG) then play an extra Scareclaw or 2 if you want instead of the Kashtira field spell.

On the Omega AI, I test there a fair amount and have some advice: The only decks that are competent are newer. I like to go against the Orcust, Sky Striker, Altergeist, or Salamangreat decks for Master Duel testing because they play Maxx "C" and other handtraps. The @ignister and VW decks play Nibiru and Imperm but their end boards are poo.

One visas is definitely worth playing in the deck imo. It's so easy to recover your scare claws that visas needing to destroy a card is kind of moot. Also getting access to syncro plays is kind of nice, level 9s are kinda cheeky.

I remember how my first encounter with this deck, they popped off and comboed and went into Tri-Heart. Then they instantly forfeited when I activated Beetrooper Invincible Atlas' attack boost effect to beat over Tri-Heart. Was pretty funny.
