You need to be close to the mushroom for them to grow. If you clean up the gore blocks with your spiked club or sledgehammer, you won’t get any bones or flesh. Helps with the crashing. I’m getting closer to catching up on this series!

@Spartan-85 Great content (salute) . Question; What in your view is the best way to store the minibike after you have it crafted? I'd like to not have to constantly recraft this thing because it gets destroyed every time I walk away from it or turn my head. I know placing it in a claimed property with a lock will keep it safe in multiplayer, but I don't want a hoard to be able to leave it in shambles either.

I’ve never ever stored mine, I’ve put out right out front and fought a huge horde running around it. Now I have made a garage and stored it in there once.

Got interrupted at work...finally finished the video. So i was thinking, you have a lot of torches at your base, which contributes to your heat map (screamers) So you might think about taking them down and maybe you can cook longer... I'd make an even bigger garden at your new base, fertilize it etc... thinking at least 10x10 to start with room for expansion...farming cotton, red and yellow flowers need to be added so you can make and sell lotsa drinks...and cotton, you will/should need a butt ton of, for duct tape, aloe bandages, flaming arrows...

I think you need to get some nicotine spray on those mushrooms they are definitely bugged! Mine too fyi, unless unless they are meant to take longer than the other crops, mine seem to take two extra days, so five days.

Idk if anyone has said something about it or not, but for the mushrooms you have to keep shorter plants like that away from the tall plants like corn and yucca. It's because the taller plants block stuff like mushrooms, goldenrod, etc from receiving light they need to grow

Finally a minibike! You know for a series called the builder, I fully expect you to make a base with a roof. Help me understand why mine keep collapsing, you could make a tutorial of it.

You are probably just trying to span too far. And/or you are missing blocks between bedrock and whatever your support beam is. You can stick support beams in the middle of where it collapses in a variety of ways, some that you would hardly notice they are there.

Great video Spartan, fyi mushrooms grow more consistently indoors or underground. You can sometimes get them to grow outside if you surround them with taller crops to block the sun.

I've never nailed down what's going on with them, but sometimes I'll get the random corn or other plant that just takes its sweet time growing. I haven't however notice any correlation to taller crops or indoors. (Not that I have grown much indoors at all)

Excellent video! Would love to see a base with some in built damage for the zombies. I love it when you fight off a horde but also when the base is doing damage before they get to you. A big ask, maybe, but you've had great ideas in the past. You said let you know what we enjoy so.... I'm really glad you've got the bike though, that's a game changer

man you have to go check out the map " Elena " spawn is amazing 3 traders in close proximity water 2 massive cities just north of the 3 traders its wild accidentally found its desert and forest bordering eachother whole starting area its awesome im talking 3 traders and 2 major cities and mansion pio and graveyard forest and desert all within one map area i mean zoom out without dragging or scrolling... I went west from spawn so 0,0 city then second city is on zero line also but 1500 west and 3 traders i see so far just south are 529 S - 1785 W, 976 S - 496 W, and 547 S - 444 W, ive only been playing 1 hour and already everything unreal area

@@Spartan85 yea found more towns 1 small strip of wasteland but its not in the way of anything nothing but lush forest and desert between 6 towns now i believe and 6 traders all located in walking distance of each other its so wild i have so much to explore i haven't even had chance to explore further outward its insane seed "Elena" if you do find time to check it out i definitely want your opinion or anyone else who checks it out

@@Spartan85 So a little update i got to close to trader so completed quest but i have explored about half the map 1 hub city 2 major close to hub size cities (first time seeing 3 large cities on a map) 5 towns so far police stations taza stone axe the biomes are amazing 1 tiny strip of wasteland so far only small sections of burnt which is surprising almost 90% bright green forest and Aloe vera desert. a large winter biome in north just found but yea everything is so close together its pretty unreal honestly and 6 traders within walking distance of eachother centrally located half desert aloe and bright nitril forest im just amazed so i know your busy mid multiple series so i totally understand if you dont have time currently but anyone interested "Elena" is the seed (no quotation marks of course)
