Every time someone gives you their unsolicited opinion about your body, just remember that Bambi unconditionally accepts you as her mama no matter what you look like. Also, I looked up those daily mail pics you were talking about and I thought you looked fly as hell.

Advice for the ear piercing! Same thing happened to me, 2 years and every day it was red raw and hurting to touch, I don’t know if this will work for you but I changed the piercing to another type of metal and it healed within a week and haven’t looked back since! Ps you look incredible, do not listen to a word anyone says, you’re beautiful inside and out! X

I had the same thing happening to me I was with my piercing for about a year and it wasn’t healing it was done with surgical steel,but then when I changed to titanium omg it healed so quickly and now I can finally enjoy having on ☺️
@charlotteknight9189 Жыл бұрын
I’m the same!! I would also recommend using a slightly longer bar if it is still playing up, as it could be that it is a little too tight (especially if it’s sore as could be slightly swollen) and that could be aggravating it further !! X
@charleyann1190 Жыл бұрын
I would definitely recommend either a titanium or surgical steel earring (at least up until it is fully healed), also in terms of the blood and pus, maybe soak a cotton round in salt water and just place it over your piercing for like 30 mins or something, then even putting pure tea tree oil on a cotton bud and cleaning around the piercing before bed? ❤❤
@redqueen7325 Жыл бұрын
I agree. I only use the titanium piercings as my skin is very sensitive

Before I had my daughter 2 years ago I was a size 6-8 during my pregnancy i had to gain a lot of weight to support her! I am now less than a stone off from my pre pregnancy weight and when I look at myself I have to remind myself that the changes my body did helped to keep my beautiful girl safe! She's thriving and so is Bambi so pay no attention to what others say, we as mothers did an incredible thing and if you want to body back you will do it, just give yourself the time to do it but do it for you and no one else! 🥰😘

It’s actually really refreshing to see that you haven’t rushed the process of trying to be stick thin straight after having a baby. You look amazinggg! I can’t believe people are messaging and saying horrible things like that. I actually feel sad when I see women with flat bellies after giving birth because it feels very unrealistic and puts a lot of pressure on other women. I mean some women want that for themselves and good for them but we shouldn’t have to force ourselves. Good on you for letting everything happen naturally and enjoying mama life. X

First of all, I love you so damn much. I love your vulnerability. It makes you feel really relatable. And I feel really sad how much distress your body image is affecting you. You are so beautiful no matter what weight you are. No matter if you feel different after Bambi. I can promise that if you change your mindset about food and exercise and do it bc it makes your body feel better. The weight will easily come off. Don’t put so much pressure on yourself. Start loving your body now and the body will respond well. It’s a guarantee.

About the piercing. I struggled with my cartilage piercings for 2 years. It kept on getting infected but when I switched from studs to sleepers or hoops it finally healed and I haven’t gotten an infection since. It also helps to clean it with salt water at least twice a day and put an antibiotic ointment on until it heals.

For the piercing.... I had the same issue, and you can either change the size of your piercing or wash it with water (not hot) and a simple soap. Make sure the area is always dry (not damp) and do not sleep on that ear a lot. That's what worked for me. Hope it helps
@Sevenninefourr Жыл бұрын
Okay PIERCING TIP: -Take a shot glass/bowl - Sea salt (without jodium) -Cooled down boiled water Dip your ear into it 10 mins twice a day when infected or just dip a q-tip in it and cleans your piercing twice a day for maintenance. This is the most natural, effective and easy way to help your body heal the piercing. I have eight and I’ve healed them all this way, learned it from a piercer and I’ve helped heal my friends piercings that way as well! Goodluck love ❤

I got 3 forward helix piercings at the same time and it took years for them to heal. The only reason they finally healed was because I changed my sleeping situation/ pillow so I was no longer laying on them when I slept. Cartilage piercings take a long time to fully heal and every time they’re pulled/ twisted whatever it’s causing small micro injuries to the piercing and setting back your healing. If you can find a way to keep anything from pulling on it, pushing on it or touching them you’ll gradually get to a point where you almost forget it was ever a problem. I used a foldable neck pillow to be able to sleep on my side without my ear touching anything and then they actually healed no more problems. I don’t use it anymore now that they’re healed. I could accidentally pull on them, twist them, flick them, whatever by accident and it might be unpleasant but it won’t hurt at all and doesn’t cause them to get inflamed or irritated in anyway. I highly suggest altering your sleeping situation. It’s likely the biggest sources of your issue with it.

My ear piercing (industrial bar) took years to heal!! The best thing I found was using damp camomile tea bags! Put one in hot (not boiling) water and hold it against your piercing for 5-10mins. I did this every night or so for a few weeks and haven’t had any problems since! 😌

What I find helps my piercings heal is to keep the jewellery sterile by cleaning it at least once a day with mix of sea salt and boiled (then cooled) water. As well, some metal types cause irritation, so try changing the type of metal and see if that makes a difference (make sure to clean the jewellery and area of the piercings when changing them). If you can, try to avoid sleeping on the side the piercing is on, as this can cause soreness and then you’re back to square one. I have a piercing that is very sore to sleep on, but because I’ve had it for over a year I just remove it at night before I go to sleep so I can sleep comfortably. Hope this helps! ❤

Any chance the piercing is nickel or sterling silver? Those are the most common metals used in piercings, but can be really inflammatory for some people. A sensitivity to nickel is also linked with excema which I know you also struggle with, so something to look into! Titanium or stainless steel are usually “safe” metals for piercings, but you have to actively seek them out most times.

Hi molly the piercing. I had the same and it took years to heal this is what I found - if you look closely at the back of the earring the surface may not be flat there may be another level of the earring that is thicker that is constantly trying to be pushed through the ear and not allowing it to heal. I ended up being very picky with the earrings I wear in that hole and only using ones that are completely flat. This was a game changer ❤
