One of my favorite romance movies! I love their chemistry and the way their relationship builds up. Declan is the perfect example of “If he wanted to, he would.” He didn’t wait for years or proposed merely to settle. Unlike women, men know when they’ve found the one rather quickly. It does NOT take years for them to know. He knew Anna was the one for him and didn’t waste a second to propose or let her slip away again.

Hey, Magy and Laura. I enjoyed this movie pretty much. It was heartwarming. I liked the chemistry between Amy Adams and Matthew Goode. I know everyone thinks it's so predictable, but I thought it was sweet. As characters of Anna and Declan, they're not exactly getting along with each other when they first meet, and starts bickering and jealousy, but they do have something in common, and starts to have their love affairs, and at the end, they're officially engaged. It's a pretty decent romantic comedy film. Thumbs up for me on "Leap Year". Leap Year (2010) 3/4 👍

@@scottbuckley823 - It shouldn't be. At least for this non-Irish person, it just put Ireland on the top of my list of places to visit. In large part based on the people there having personalities at real as the characters in the movie.

I'm just confused, lol. ► Superficial = shallow and put importance on things like looks and money over quality of character. ► Superstitious = steadfast beliefs in rituals and traditions to the point that if these conventions are ignored or broken, bad things will follow. I actually do like the film, the only problem I have is that they have this amazing score, but then used some pop songs, for some reason. Like when they share a bed? Why "Dream a little dream"? It ruins the moment for me. Otherwise great film and Amy Adams is just the best there is.

As an Irish person this movie is awful. The geography's all over the place , The stereotypes are awful, the fact they're promoting the modern American woman visiting outdated country trope is hilarious seeing we out rank America on various issues. If she's flying from Boston to Dublin she's flying from West to East meaning she could fly to Shannon, Cork or Kerry airports which are South and south West and rent a car. Even if she did have to fly to wales why did she by pass Cork, Waterford, Wexford for Dingle on the other side of Ireland?. Even if she did have to go to wales it's 4 hrs to Liverpool which has a ferry to Dublin? This movie is terible and anyone who likes it I bet are not Irish. It's cringe and offensive.
