I like to go for morphs, colours, head structure, good body structure etc. But I try to get colours that compliment each other.

Missed the stream, Have the same shoe box tanks, i don't have the extra cut port in the front, i made 2 tanks bio active for mourning geckos/1 adult tank and 1 hatchling/baby tank, i use cork bark that's 2 inches tall and covers the width and glue it in the front(set back from door over 1/2 an inch for squish proofing) as a barrier to hold soil, U can cut mesh slightly larger then the back piece and it snaps in(due to the geckos tiny size and ease of escaping through back slits), The front of the tank holds moisture longer but the back side will completely dry out if u evening mist and don't morning mist, so i have been misting the front heavier so there's more of a gradient of dry to the back, Link for the port holes would be appreciated!PS Comment about growth my H binioe are relatively the same size but I have one girl who is the same age but barely longer then the others tails, made sure she was getting her portion of meal worms and crickets and she is plump like the others but her growth rate is easily below 50%
