I'm actually embarrassed to say what a fan I am of your vlogs. I'm 69, never married, no children. I try to find women my age to follow & do have 2 I enjoy. But I feel a real connection the way you come through on camera, as a chat with someone I would enjoy having as a friend.

My husband and I talk about it all the time but then I watch your videos and I just love your perspective. So much so that I usually am emotional and find myself thinking, “well maybe I can do it “. Thank you for sharing ❤️

this is 100% one of my biggest struggles! it is so easy to get overwhelmed. having a baby has been the most grounding experience for me- totally prunes your life of what needs to stay & go. Six months is fun…nine months was even more fun! Michelle, when you spoke about the gift of being your child’s mother it made my heart burst. I feel the same way and tell my nearly 21-year old daughter this often. She is my greatest joy, even if motherhood is a challenging journey. I will say this…bigger kids, bigger problems/challenges. I sometimes yearn for the relative ease of the car seat days…you dress them, throw them in a car seat, & go. It is much more challenging when they think & do for themselves. Nobody can tell you this so that it makes sense…then when you are in that phase you get it!

Hi Michelle, listening to you talk about how motherhood has changed you and the deep love you have for your son made me emotional. This whole video was great. I just recently gave birth to our second and listening to you talk about how at 6 months you are starting to feel like yourself again has given me that “light at the end of the tunnel” feeling. Even though our first is only 22 months, it’s easy to forget how hard those first few weeks can be with a baby especially once you’ve found your rhythm with them. Starting all over with baby number 2 hasn’t been easy but as you have shared, the first few weeks are a phase not forever. Thank you for that gentle reminder, and thank you for sharing your motherhood journey with us. I watched one of your recent videos the other day and my husband caught some of it as well and said, “She seems like she’s a great mother.” ❤

I only just watched this video as I've been away on holiday, but I wanted to say, thank you for sharing your honest feelings about how there's not really anything you miss from your life "before". Regret narratives are so popular in our culture and it was one of the big things preventing me from getting pregnant, but I'm pregnant now, and it's so heartening to know that while I may have some things I miss, it is actually possible to look back fondly on your past life, but not necessarily miss it, just be grateful it happened and be grateful your life is the way it is now. :)

So in the back of my mind, I am a little scared to have kids. But you CAN be yourself and enjoy the same hobbies once you have kids. Life actually becomes even better with kids, it doesn't get worse. Children are a blessing, not a problem. Thanks Michelle!

Just be careful with natural cycles if you truly don’t want to get pregnant yet! I would recommend a backup method. My friend got pregnant with NC because she randomly ovulated early one cycle. The app had predicted her ovulation around the time when it usually is and gave her green days when she was actually fertile. Once she confirmed ovulation with her temp, the app went back and changed those days to red but it was too late lol

They help the liver and I think that’s the like root cause! Ever since I’ve been taking those my skin is the best it’s ever been! (I also take stinging nettle which I feel aids as well)! I noticed (think) since he has had purees/mashed foods and I have him nap in his wearable blanket he seems to sleep in his crib for at least 1hr to 1hr and 30mins! Not every time but it's good progress! If you haven't tried the wearable blanket for naps maybe give it a go?

This might sound weird, and I really hope it doesnt, but I sooo wish I was a fellow content creator because I feel like we'd be good friends. I'm pregnant now and connect so much to your videos (your pregnant ones especially) but the current ones too. Every outlook you share, style, views on life, parenting, relationships, God, etc., I just feel like I relate to everything so well- even the fact that my husband is also from NE (and quite honestly oddly looks very similar to yours lol, I even had to show him and he was freaked out too). Your life just looks a lot like how we imagine our life to be with our baby and Im sure you know, its so hard to find that in a creator to follow online. There's always something I find I strongly don't like or don't connect with when it comes to other creators. It's just so refreshing and very comforting to find a creator like you. Someone that seems so genuine and real and not just putting on a weird creator facade for the world. I very much appreciate and look forward to your videos! They are helping me get through this pregnancy and not feel so alone.

Yeah babies/toddlers change their taste throughout the years anyway so no need to "force" babies to eat something they don't like. Michelle thank you for such an insightful Q&A- we appreciate your authenticity and talking about your stage of life which may be different than many of ours. It’s great hearing about your life stage and having something to look forward to. I used the paragard IUD (non hormonal copper only. IUD) and absolutely loved it with no side effects since it’s non hormonal. It is also completely reversible and doesn’t affect fertility since your cycles overall aren’t affected. Just food for thought for you or anyone else looking for an option that is non hormonal and much more accurate than natural cycles or family planning (just in case your not willing to take the risk because the 99% accuracy gave me peace of mind)
