I'm glad you talk about the fashions/accessories as well as the dolls - it helps put price in different light. Like, the executive and star sets are almost worth the price , and the headset, camera, and leopard pants are cute. This is a set to grab when it goes on clearance just for the clothes/accessories

I wish instead of the movie star they would have done another behind the scenes person like a makeup artist, wardrobe, or sound. Yes the movie star is fun, but they have done movie star quite a lot in the past and it’s easily replicated. A Barbie with a boom mic, that would be so fun!

I'm in school right now, majoring in Television Arts, it's been my dream and goal for as long as I can remember to be a woman in film. I'm going to be a screenwriter and director and obviously I need all of these barbies!!! You should've seen me squeal when they made the announcement! I really love the articulation and can't understand why Matel keeps on launching not articulated Barbies for adult collectors. I was tempted to purchase this same collection, but when I saw they have only 5 articulation points, I abandoned the idea.😢

This is an awesome, diverse set, with a great base for customization 😊 A bit too pricey for what you’re getting, but as a standalone starter pack, it would make a nice gift 😁 The only doll that I really want is the actress with that adorable award🤩 So ultimately, I’ll probably just make my own inspired set like yours to save a few coins 😉

I love the dress on the curvy! And I love how they made the curvy doll the movie star - too many times the actress is always someone skinny. But it's so sad that they're all pixelated. For a $50 set, I'd expect at least a clean screening. Do they think that because their dolls are primarily targeted at kids that no one will care or notice? I love your background with all the Kens and cameras! :D And the scrunchie dress is genius! Thanks for sharing!

Hello Toya, thank you for the video! Im not a fan of the shiny and pixelated faces. I would think for $50 they would do some quality checking. I also don't care for printed on details, it seems like a cheap alternative to having actual clothing. I did love the sparkly pink dress. I really loved your takes on the career outfits! The movie executive worried me with that huge coat at first, but your addition of the belt made it look amazing!

I vote that the next Career of the Year for 2024 should be Animation! Because animators, voice actors, writers, designers and more are just as important in creating an animated film and/or tv series as creating a live action film/tv series! And those people have talent and hard work put into the Animation Genre! So mad respect to the people in the Animation community! Also, how about a movie set for the dolls? I think you made some sort of movie camera in one of your DIY videos and maybe a director's chair, so what about a doll room that's a movie set, or how about making a movie set from a basic school folder, for multiple sceneries that you can put away for later? Just a thought!
