I think a really good video to react to would be “Stray kids having fun in the recording studio” because it’s more recent clips and truly shows them recording their vocals and the coaching that 3racha does. It’s very lighthearted and fun! I also recommend either the 5-Star or Rockstar recording videos. Those aren’t fan made compilations, they’re from the official stray kids account and they go over the recording process of most songs in the album (5-Star and Rockstar are stray kids albums). Amazing reaction as always, thank you

The "ghetto" clips were from when they were pre-debut trainees. They were 16-20ish year-olds living in a dorm w/o constant access to high-end equipment. Chan literally fell asleep at that desk making beats, and 3racha used what they had to record and upload mixtapes. At their earliest and most basic level, they still managed to make mind-blowingly good music. I second the comments asking you to react to their more recent studio work (i.e. having fun making music or fivestar/rockstar sessions). You asked about them having "heavier" music, Stray kids Japanese songs tend to be more rockish. I highly recommend checking out their new album, Giant, esp their songs falling up, night, why, and come play (their OST for arcane). Would love to see you react to more Stray kids!!! You've honestly barely scratched their surface😂❤.

2:14 This was in their pre-debut era, they were, still, in the survival show and didn't have a budget for better equipment nor space, so they worked where they could, because they had a really short time for the creation process, so that they could present the song and choreography to the judges. After their debut, they were able to use a better music studio, and dance studio.

@@cutebutevil7387 But that's the only one that seemed to me like Metallica out of all their songs, Lalala could never be Metallica because it's like afrobeats so it has to be a different song, besides he never said Lalala specifically. Someone probably already said this, but most of those clips are from 2017 to about 2018, the first ones are from the show Stray Kids when the group was being formed, befoe debut, when they were technically still trainees. Chan was not even 20 years old on that first clip, and Changbin was about 18, maybe 19 by the last part. Yes, they were living in dorms, they still do, although better quality ones and they have their own rooms now. Chan does have his own recording space in the JYP building now and has for some time, but they still record a lot of their work in hotel rooms. Chan basically makes up beats everywhere all the time, as far as I can tell, but he does have much better equipment now.

The closest thing I can think of for Felix doing metal grinding is his Rev it up solo stage but it's only live in concert they never released it 😢. The closest that I can think for them as a group doing rock type stuff (they dont have anything metal that I'm aware of) is the LaLaLaLa rock version or super board. They have a light rock type some called time out but I think that's more pop but it's really good especially when you just need a song to cheer you up. If I'm forgetting something I'm sure another Stay will mention it.
@DaddiesLittlePsycho3 күн бұрын
Yeah, you are forgetting the first several years of their career and all of their Japanese music. 😂 I mean, sure, Stray Kids music covers over 50 sub-genres... However Stray Kids do have specific genres that make up the bulk of their music. This includes Hip-Hop/Rap, EDM/Dance/Trap, Hard Rock/Soft Rock/Alt Rock/Pop Rock/Punk Rock... but to simplify, Hip-Hop, EDM, and Rock make up the three most predominant 'parent genres' in their discography. 😊 Also, if we aee talking solos, although they call it Hanpop, he is most definitely a Rock God himself. The reason that Stray Kids music incorporates so much Rock, is because of Han. His father was the lead vocalist of a Rock band. Its just plain in his blood. (This, kn combination with his talent with languages, is why Han is such a prominent name in Stray Kids Japanese music. They really leaned into the Rock sound with that discography.) Anyway, point is, their sound is full of it, people forget just how many types of Rock there is, and they do NOT sound anything like one another in all honesty. Lmao... Oh yeah, and for many years now Stray Kids have been widely and unanimously known as the "Korean Lincoln Park"... and needless to say, they certainly fit the title. Lol

Metal Stray Kids--check out Social Path, which is the closest I think, featuring Japanese sensation LiSa, that was the song they were recording when you talked about metal and grunge sounds. If you want Stray Kids grunge, try Yayaya or Beware: Song of Grrr from their pre-debut days. There's a dance practice type mv of Grrr, the only video of Yayaya shows them during their first performance before a non-performance audience as trainees during their origin show. And if you haven't done it yet, check out the competition show Kingdom: Legendary War, where they do have various clips showing some of the production process for several of the songs. I think the most interesting from a production viewpoint is when 3Racha combined with rapper HongJoong from Ateez and Minhyuk from BTOB, it shows them figuring out how to work together to make the rap they eventually performed. It is especially interesting to compare to the other 3 groups collaborating for their rap (there were also dance and vocal collaborations). For more metal Felix, check out the Skz cover of I'll Be Your Man during that show, as well. Also for a really hilarious time, you need to check out the full clips of 3Racha making "I Can't Live Without Changbin". Chan used to go live every Sunday just talking, listening to music, making beats live, etc., and for one of those he invited Changbin and said "Let's make a song live." Changbin said ok, it's a song about me, so sad, you just can't live without me.....they recorded it, then a few shows later for Chan's 100th show, they got Han in to do his part, and it is utterly hilarious, they are having sooo much fun. The second one is funnier, but it makes more sense if you watch the first one too.
