I take a look at the DeWALT Power Cleaner (Pressure Washer) to see if it'll some work around the house.
I mention in the video that I'll be cleaning the patio properly later. I found a cleaner the I was really impressed with called "30 SECONDS Outdoor Cleaner" Amazon link below or you can pick it up at your local big box home store.

Have now used this to clean house siding and it performed well kzbin.infoUgkx43QMbQqu67IZadu9ou8Sg1BdrunMRNqX I also bought some wand extensions which enabled higher washing without needing a ladder. I recommend both. This unit arrived quickly, was easy to assemble (only had to attach the handle), and arrived in perfect condition. The only very slight downgrade from a perfect score is the design has a low handle and requires pulling from the side. My old washer was an upright model, while this one is more horizontal. Other than that, it's perfect for my needs. It has a great deal of pressure and more easily cleaned the house siding, porch rails and concrete than did my older model. The engine is a bit louder, as well, but the total time to clean was reduced by the more powerful spray. Did I mention it starts on the first or second pull every time?!! I am definitely happy with this model.

I'm a septic tank and grease trap pumper. I got one of these for blasting the inside of tanks and traps to really deep clean them. The turbo head and 0 degree nozzle is great for busting up the sludge and solids. No room on the pump truck to carry a gas pressure washer so this is great. Been using mine for about a year. Niche and gross job but glad this tool is available.

Keep doing what you do, good sir. Very detailed reviews and a fine awareness and thoughtfulness of others outside your work environment. In the market for a portable washer, and cleaning the truck and having those quick jobs don't necessarily call for a nuclear powered washer. Having "dollar store" PSI don't help much either.

If you want "portable" and have power and a garden hose nearby, I would recommend a AVA go p55 power washer. High flow and pressure for a compact washer and 10 years warranty.

On the car cleaning.. when I used to clean semis I learned quickly that 1. Turbo nozzles seem to agitate the soap more so than push it away. 2. when I rinse I go vertically and sweep back to front.. it’s much faster. I also slow down.. slower is faster.. I’m sure this is all common sense to u but just some tips that make a difference is lower power units…

@max_archer

For most applications I think it would've made way more sense to take a regular compact pressure washer and slap a couple of battery sockets on it. That way you could run regular PW guns and only have to deal with a standard thin PW hose instead of dragging a whole garden hose behind you and it probably could've been a lot more powerful, especially if they'd made it a multi-voltage device with options to run at low voltage for light duty work or 120v with dual flexvolts or a wall plug for heavier work. My experience is also that that style of soap sprayer always sucks, even when it does have a flow control. The good ones go in the nozzle quick release, the ones that replace the wand are always garbage.

I got one of those power washers and they are handy as hell for small jobs that don't require full power and when you don't want to drag all your shit out. I actually take it to the lake and rinse out the inside of my boat using lake water. Works great.

The way I use my soap cannon is to dilute the soap a bit and fill it all the way. Mine is adjustable and still empties fairly fast. Perhaps a good time to try the low power mode. Also the green tip should put more water out to rinse the truck after the soap cannon. That may also work better on the low power mode for rinsing. Good review- love the channel.

The DeWalt A/C unit I think you're referencing there at the end (DWPW2100) is very nice. It's basically a medium/small rolling suit case with the wheels, extendable handle, and cage. It'd take up some van space if you carried it all the time where you can slap that battery one on the wall, but it's size and portability are outstanding over all IMO. It's nice to stand on the thing to get another foot higher for some stuff and the kit is basically able to be stored nicely as one unit; Everything is within it's cage. It's about $350 so about a 1/3 more of the cordless, which has many uses too, but probably the best portable configuration of other A/C models like Greenworks or Stihl (I use the Stihl 110 Plus electric and a 4000psi gas cinder block around the house). I like the cordless DeWalt for just general cleaning which I think you'd agree with. Gutters, A/C condenser coils, and shit like that where I'm not dragging all this crap around besides a hose. I also don't want to use anything ultra mega master chief powerful to wash off my vehicles either unless I'm looking for the factory primer layer. Great, quick vehicle cleaning since I live on a dirt road with a good hand job once in a while to make them shine...just plentiful enough to not make me jealous that the trucks and cars are getting more than myself.

This is exactly what I need. I recently did a coolant flush with no access to running water so I had to transport it in gas cans. Even then, I couldn’t properly back flush the two heater cores with a hose like I wanted to do. Being able to pump/squirt/spray water from a bucket is exactly what I need and the fact that it’s almost useful as a pressure washer is just a bonus. I desperately needed something like this for the last -car- [van] wash I had to do also. I ended up reusing Windex spray bottles for most of it.

Considering I've never seen a Shurflo style pump with more than 150 psi, the DeWalt definitely fills a void for smaller tasks. Inattached a regular foam cannon, and it did its job very well. Some will complain and say this is weak, but its a useful tool for someone that needs portable and lightweight work done.

For household use you're probably better off with a cheap electric pressure washer. They're way more powerful. You can get more done in less time with less money. The downside being that they take up more space and the hose can be a bit of a pain to deal with. Personally, once my I finally kill my cheapo electric power washer, I'm going to get a gas powered one, though I've abused the crap out of it and the damn thing just will not die. Time is a precious thing, gas powered pressure washers can save a lot of it.

I have this ‘power cleaner’ as well. I find it super useful for washing my vehicles instead of pulling out the gasser pressure washer. Also maxing out at 1GPM is perfect for my CR Spotless machine. I’ve also used it for quickly rinsing off a drill paddle and cleaning out mortar/grout buckets and it worked great for that as well. It’s definitely a niche tool, but for the stuff it can do it’s perfect for it.

I would have to say for the prices I'm seeing it's not worth the cost to have something yellow that says Dewalt on it. Yet there are applications I'm sure where an actual small pressure washer would be overkill and possibly damaging. The portability does go in it's favor for sure. I live and die for when manufacturers slip up and actually put a decent price on a tool WITH A FREAKING BATTERY

I’ve been waiting for Milwaukee to come out with one of these just so I don’t have to use another battery platform. Primarily just to use to boost the pressure of a standard water hose… not as a pressure washer. If they don’t get off the fence I may have to just get another brand and a battery adapter. I don’t think it would work on this one with the way the battery goes in. Thanks for the video 👍👍

I bought one of those to be able to wash my truck in motel parking lots as I work away from home and I was definitely very disappointed with it. It could be useful for some specific situations like you mentioned but for general pressure washing around home I’d say it’s fairly worthless especially compared to what else you could get for the same money or slightly more. I stopped carrying mine over the road as it’s just too bulky and that clear plastic bit does seem super fragile (tho I haven’t broken it when I did use it). If you’re needing a small pressure washer around your house or shop then do yourself a favor and just buy a normal small electric pressure washer, personally I prefer gas powered for use at my house as that’s where good pressure is at outside of expensive “professional” washers. If you need to clean something small and not lightly dirty and there’s no water source available this might work for you, outside of that there are better options.

Exactly the situation I need it for. The workshop I rent has running water for the sink and toilet but no way to hook up a hose. I can’t even fill up a jug or bucket from the sink with only 3” of clearance under the faucet. There isn’t even a way to shut the water off if I accidentally kick the wall-mounted PVC plumbing. Floods AHOY! I routinely need to transport water there in gas cans when I need to clean or flush things and, of course, that still doesn’t give me any outdoor water pressure. It’s stupid. This DeWALT tool would solve my water pressure issue. I could actually back-flush my radiator!

Edit: lol I wrote this before the end of the video and I saw the broken plastic quick connector, again I would do away with the clear second screen thing and put a brass quick connector straight onto the aluminium inlet, just had another thought US gallons are 1L smaller than UK gallons, does the box tell output in L/min ? 😅
