Awesome work, been many a decade since I built a model tank, been getting the bug again.
@relentlesstorm9 ай бұрын
Thanks! You can do it! There's a ton of kits out there and if the small size is a concern, 1/16 scale armor is available and at reasonable prices in compared to old Trumpeter kits.

@@relentlesstorm I was doing 1/6th scale figures and dioramas, easier on the fingers.

Love the final outcome, especially with the interior exposed for viewing. Just need more light at the end when showcasing the final product.

Thank you! This was my first build with a new camera and studio setup so I'm learning the lighting as I go!

@@relentlesstorm how many hours you put into this work? It looks daunting to me lol
@relentlesstorm11 ай бұрын
@@switchoff64it depends on the level of weathering you want. This one took me a few days to finish the weathering. Probably about 12-16 hours to fully weather an exterior. The interior of this tank added a lot of time. Including all the PE, this tank took a few months to finish. You have to paint the interior as you go because it is too difficult to paint fully assembled.

I'm glad to see you using that brown color for the camo. I hate when people use that red/brown color all the time. I don't care if it's the correct color or not.

Hi storm your panther looks awesome love the weathering the paint job just looks amazing. all so i like that you show us what products you are using and how to use them thats a massive help to me. keep on bringing these builds to the channel. just one thing could you lower the back ground music a little please as sometimes your commentary gets drowned out. cheers Gary uk 🇬🇧

VERY NICE, *but*, I have to say.... Only the lower hull has the red oxide primer. The turret & much of the crew area was in fact a very light, almost WHITE, buff color....oops. Other than that, KUTGW!
@relentlesstorm3 ай бұрын
@@silentumexcubitor6747 thanks. The color scheme on the inside changed depending on the year due to different reasons. My understanding is that the timeframe that this tank was built they only used the oxide primer on the entire interior and didn't paint the creme white at all
