I was not saying that they were male and female for this type of Stegosaurus, also, yes, the Stegosaurus from JP2, they do not do well, since even in the JP movies, they do not dare to show male copies next to the females. For example, the Parasaurolophus of JP2, only the males appear and in JP3 only the females appear. @telekinesticman3 жыл бұрын
I kinda head-canon that "The Big One" was or had already transitioned to male, which was why they exhibited more aggression and killed the rest of the pride before the movie. You can argue there's no skin colour difference because they weren't born male, but future male offspring would likely have shown tiger stripes. Rexy on the other hand has likely been female the entire time due to no other tyrannosaurs behind present on Nublar, giving her no reason to try and reproduce.
@nahuelvinaya0153 жыл бұрын
Well, according to me, dinosaurs change color when they turn into males. In JP, we never saw a male specimen, but in the rest of the films we have seen certain species with male specimens. The reason I'm telling you is that if all the Sorna dinosaurs that were created and abandoned were created as female, then how could Buck have a green vatiante and those features visible on parts of his body that set him apart from the female? It's because when I was a woman, I changed to the man and at the same time their colors changed.
@chubibi062 жыл бұрын
@@nahuelvinaya015 it could simply take time for a turned male specimen to change color. The Big One might've change sex only a short while before the vent of the first movie ; its body was barely beginning to change. (She being the bigger one can simply be explained by the fact she's the oldest one, too). Meanwhile, the buck T-rex and male raptors had 4 years to change sex after the event of JP, on Isla Sorna. . .
@nahuelvinaya0152 жыл бұрын
@@chubibi06 Possibly, although being science fiction and genetically mutated dinosaurs, the changes are rapid, such as the tadpoles that become toads or frogs, in a few changes of a short time, that with science fiction, they could make their changes more rapid. I think Big One, its size could be due to a mutation in its genetic code giving it some gigantism, or something like that. It is not known how long it takes for the color change, for the attraction of the females, and it is something that there will only be assumptions, and there would not be something confirmed.

@@alisonlaw Remember that the series was planned shortly after the premiere of JWFK, along with JWBABR. Remember that the series does not replicate well the designs of the dinosaurs in the film, that in addition to the colors, Toro is a female, the names of the dinosaurs do not justify their gender, for example, Chaos, Grim and Limbo, Chaos is a specimen females Baryonyx, Limbo and Grim are males due to the green and dark hue and Grim with the red spot on the eye, being the variant counterpart of Chaos. In addition, the difference between Toro and Demon is the tail, the JWD render of Demon, also served to tell us that Toro is not Demon, because the tail of both is different, Demon has it black with red and Toro his tail is not burned.

Also, something i want to point out. The frog changing sex thing is a especulation by dr grant, it's never confirmed in the movie. In the book i believe he said "unless you have another explanation" or something along that line, well i have another explanation that doesn't involve sex changing, it's called parthenogenesis. The diferent coloration between raptors or other dinosaur could also mean they are just different batches/ subspecies / breeds. I know canonwise is whatever the owners of the franchise say, and it may contradict later movies.

Jurassic Outpost, you wrong about the first movie and second movie raptors ! In reality the two type are separate breed. The Brown 1993 raptors like the Great One, are all females. But the 1997 raptors, more know as the Tigerstripe raptors, are males and females as the same time ! The difference between a male and female Tigerstripe raptor is the fact that male is hot, bright, dark and warm in color (orange with black stripes) and the female, her, is more simply clearer than the male. I agree it's difficult to see since in the second movie we see only all the raptors during the night when the luminosity is not great. But even the (first) 2018 Jurassic World Evolution game know that and show us with the last but great "Return to Jurassic Park" DLC. We clearly see there are two Tigerstripe variant, one male bright, one female clearer. It's a shame that the sequel of 2021 Jurassic World Evolution 2 show only the Tigerstripe male raptors with the others skins. But the differences are subtiles and not important. For the most others dinosaurs and creatures, like the Parasaurolophus you said in the vidéo, it's officially separate variants/breed and not males and females sexual dimorphism (and the JP3 Para are not JP one Para, they are separate breed). It's only when we have real officialisations that we Can said if this or this kind of form is male or female. When it's not the case, it's simply variant colors!
@nahuelvinaya0153 жыл бұрын
In what you say, there are certain incorrect points, it is true that the Velociraptor of JP1, they are all female, they carry the brown color variant that make them see females, and those of JP2, show male Velociraptor of a tiger variant, but what Decis of the female tiger variant raptors, it is not entirely true, the game may say so, but it is not canon, in addition to that the Parasaurolophus of JP3, they are female and they are those of JP1, because they were given a pattern more related to the male of JP2, and greenish colors of that of JP1.
