Let's Compare Real Arcade Pro V VS F500 Elite

Honestly the f500 elite is a choice for me all the way. It is alot more customizable and versatile to use you can put any design you want on the stick surface if you look at the hard see through plastic on the surface you can see it is removable and honestly the buttons and ball top come in different colors which you can buy online for under 20 bucks despite being premium quality.

Thanks for this man, been trying to decide on which arcade stick I want more, the Switch arcade pro, or the F500 mayflash. The problem I'm having is that I want to be able to play my arcade stick on ps4 and switch without having to buy another arcade stick for the ps4. You would think then that I should get a f500 since its universal, but I actually like the design and the overall larger size of the switch arcade pro stick more than the mayflash. Still trying to figure it out though. Anyway thanks for the info👍

I highly recommend the F500 over it. Even though the Real Arcade Pro is bigger the Mayflash actually has more weight to it. If anything you can get a new body for the parts and make it look like the Real Arcade Pro.

Dont know if you bought it yet but the mayflash f500 elite is sooo good. i just bout it 2 weeks ago and its amazing. plenty of space on top (for me) and a really good weight to it. Changing out the art work on it is super easy too. you can either buy it from focus attack for like 12 bucks or what i did was print my own using 8.5x14 in poster paper.i then cut it with an exacto knife and now my fight stick looks sick! cant go wrong with buying the mayflash f500 elite.

I want to get the Mayflash stick now. It's more affordable, and it looks more customizable. I just wish the shell came in red... I'm not grabbing a mini stick! It would be way too small for my big Polish hands!

The 5 stands for fifth iteration. The hori VLX stands for Vewlix. :)

If you are talking about the May Flash. It is. You can swap out the buttons for different colored ones on the May Flash as well.

I have read some comment about mayflash have some delay input or maybe they r just Hori fans.. Look further on mayflash f500 elite have all sanwa part.. I'm sure it will be even better performance.. I have trouble on choosing either 1 of these stick.. Finally made up my mind to go for mayflash f500 elite.. Should be arrive in a week

Good choice. I have both, and I have not noticed any real lag. If you're going to get one with Sanwa buttons make sure it is the Elite. They are the ones with Sanwa buttons. Let me know what you think of it once you get it.

@@RyuFalchionX sure.. I have an old fightstick which has no x input.. Its something call wrestle joystick with some funny sticker sf4.. Non branded stick..im a pc steam user.. So games like sf5, n tekken 7 which need x input, I can't play with this stick.. Besides can't play with this stick, also have inaccurate lever, n cheap button.. So it's time to upgrade a better stick.. I'm gonna let u know the result after testing this mayflash f500 elite stick.. Thanks for your graat review

@@RyuFalchionX hey bro, my mayflash f500 elite has finally arrived.. Tested all games r compatible.. No issue with other console.. Its big n heavy compare to f300 elite.. It has headphone jack input which I'm suppose f300 doesn't have.. It has square gate lever which not an issue for Asian player.. It comes with octagonal gate inside the box.. Very accurate n responsive.. It has all the premium features.. I hope this comment will help others to have another option buying this mayflash f500 elite stick.. No lag issue.. I would consider a mid to high entry level stick.. If this was made by razer or those big name company, it might be consider high entry level.. Strictly recommended this stick

About the RAP V Hayabusa arcade stick, I would leave the hayabusa buttons just the way they are and replace the hayabusa lever with a sanwa JLF lever because the hayabusa lever is oversensitive.

Hmm I just sent back a HORI RAP 4 after trying it out for a month. I couldn't get the accuracy I wanted from the joystick. It may be worth getting that stick again and swapping out the joystick like you recommend. For now I'm trying out the 8bitdo for PC & switch gaming. But I do need a dedicated stick again for the ps5 once it arrives

i bought f500elite and I would only recommend it for modding and players experienced in modding. The plastic cracked and the button layout (etokki/ vewlix) crooked for the human hand, not to mention loose sanwa stick. Its not a competitive tournament level stick imo, but ok for random/ casual play

Holy cow! Did they just package it haphazardly? The button layout is definitely something that can take some time if you are not used to it.

I thought they use a metal plate where the buttons and stick are installed. I wanted a mayflash elite but i heard about the low quality and the horis have less lag.

@@ninetendopesaitama2107 Yes that is true. I actually got a mechanic to slice the metal plate so I could reverse and reposition the button layout. It came with Sanwa buttons and stick and I replaced them. I would recommend Mayflash f500 elite for players that are experienced in modifying sticks. It was an extra investment modding it. Hori's all seem loose to me but sometimes they might have good deals.

The F500 Elite is (to my knowledge) functionally the same as the standard F500 model with different art and Sanwa stick/buttons instead of their own, so you *could* get the regular F500 and pop in some other parts if you're not satisfied with the stock ones.
