We thaw meat in cold water so that it doesnt start to grow bacteria with warmer temperatures, & the cold water will still thaw the meat because its still not as cold as freezing temp 😊 hope this helps!! & all the food looks good! 😍

Cold water is warmer than Freezing, so it will melt. It's actually the correct way to defrost meat because if you use anything warmer, the outside of the meat will cook and stay in what's called '[The Danger Zone]( en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Danger_zone_(food_safety)).' The Danger Zone' is the optimal temperature for bacteria to grow on meat. If you plan to defrost meat, put it under running cold water, it's safer!

Hi Glory. I’m not sure where to put this comment, but since it appears you do most of the cooking I thought I’d leave it here. In a previous vlog on Slice and Rice Matt asked the subscriber community to leave any advice they had about MS and treatments. I read a book recently called Eat to Beat Disease by William W Li, MD. It was excellent and discussed foods and dosages to help with MS (along with other diseases). I wanted to pass the information along. Hoping the best for your family and praying for Matt. God bless.

Always unthaw in cold water because it thaws it slower and keeps the meat from spoiling basically.
