You're welcome 😊. It's difficult to keep track of the exact number of balloons but I generally use 150-200 balloons for a standard 15ft balloon garland

Hello. No you don't have to double stuff balloons if you prefer not to. I double stuff some of my balloons to make custom colors that are not available elsewhere.
