Are there any free alternatives to Photoshop you would recommend? Theres a lot out there and it's a bit overwhelming to choose from and being a channel focused on extreme artwork I'd love your opinion.

Yeah mate there's tonnes out there, but honestly I feel that the best has got to be GIMP. It's an open source image editing software, think Audacity or Blender but for visual work. I know plenty of savage designers and illustrators that have never used Adobe software and solely use GIMP and InkScape which is an open source version of Adobe Illustrator. Hope that helps boss
