Hello Charlotte got me into psychology, was there when I felt alone, i felt understood yknow. One word I'd use to decribe the main character is "lonely god" White's a lonely color and Hello Charlotte's characters are mostly colorless, makes the game's art style really unique but also carries that message across through the art. One heck of a game series

God I am so happy to see Hello Charlotte on here! I'm extremely obsessed with this game, in love with the story and some characters. Anri and Charlotte are my favorites. I didn't know it was so underground until I streamed it on Twitch, where the game thumbnail didn't even have an image. I hope more people find out about HC, it's really great psychological horror. It's been my favorite game for a while now

ah yes, my perennial hyperfixation 💕 loved games like these since all we knew was yume nikki! i wonder if the towelket series will show up later on down the iceberg! it's a very obscure series but people have FINALLY been translating the games and they are an absolute rollercoaster (and FANTASTIC and 100% worth playing!)

I actually really like Space Funeral's plot. The idea of "Forms" comes from Platonism, and to greatly simplify, says that every particular thing in the world is actually a reflection of a perfect, immaterial Form that exists in a timeless state sometimes called "Platonic Heaven". Every dog is a reflection of the Form of Dog, every circle is a reflection of the Form of Circle, etc. Space Funeral's villain is an artist who saw the perfection of the City of Forms and went insane with grief knowing that she'd never be able to make anything as good, and thus changed the world into its ugly state out of revenge.

You've gotten a LOT wrong about Corpse Party. Firstly, the plot of the original Corpse Party is different from Blood Covered, most notably the lack of a ritual, that part came in the reboot. Also, Book of Shadows is not entirely a sequel, its more like a DLC with its chapters being prequels, events along side Blood Covered and continuations from one of the wrong ends. Only the final chapter is a sequel and sets up Blood Drive which is a SEQUEL not a Prequel, coming from the true ending of Blood Covered and final chapter of Book of Shadows. You also missed 2U/Sachiko's Hysteric Birthday which is a strange (but comfirmed canon due to the time loop situation in Book of Shadows) spin-off where the cast celebrate Sachiko's birthday and each chapter was written by a different fan, from what I've heard. There's also Corpse Party 2: Dead Patient which is sequel with only one chapter and will likely never be finished despite being a promising game.
