Thankyou for showing life going on in Lviv. I’ve never caught much of people’s livestreams, I watch when it’s quieter with more time. I like your reporting and daily life in Ukraine.

Hello Orest, the route you took there, is the route I used to take regularly. I lived in Lviv for several years, before leaving at the beginning of 2021. Great memories for me and you are doing a great job with your channel. Keep up the good work!

Orest, many thanks you for the interesting video of Lviv. My girlfriend is currently in isolation in hospital in Lviv with covid. She is planning to come to Canada asap as she escaped from eastern Ukraine a few weeks ago. It is of some relief to see that Lviv looks quite normal although limited power supply,.

Every Ukrainian driver is required to keep the following items in their car: spare tire, emergency blanket, traffic flare, grenade launcher, Javelin missile launcher. If you are pulled over and do not have all of these items, or if the weapons are not armed, you may receive a ticket. ;)

This is the sort of stuff that is missing in the youtube. Even before the war. Not much videos of regular life by well known Ukrainian youtubers... in English. Like Operator Starsky said in the latest Johnny FD video "marketing sucked". It still is not what it could be. Johnny FD, Starsky, Anna from Ukraine, Pavlo from Ukraine and Orest are pretty much the only ones who show what the normal life is in Ukraine right now. I recommend short live style videos but uploaded later without much editing. Like Anna does. She is shy with camera in the city. You should go to Lutsk and make a video with her. Most of her viewers have never heard of you. I have mentioned you several times but only few read and don't bother using search. There's also a new youtuber in Lviv you could meet. Nastya Verba. You could talk about her project after she lost her job. She took part in the Revolution of dignity, so that is interesting.

A quick question for you Orest, Is an American driver's license valid in Lviv? If I wanted to rent a car in Lviv can I rent one? I do not speak the language though. Also, do they use all standard stick shift transmissions? They don't use automatics? Thank you.

Thank God,u r fortunate far from Russia. But ask your Ukrainians not to play between two big super powers. Remember how a Afghanistan is today. After US invasion of Afghanistan,A puppet gov. Under Hamid karzai is formed but after US defeated by taliban, he says" NEVER PLAY BETWEEN TWO POWERS". Pliz dont take me offended.
@nole89232 жыл бұрын
The U.S. wasn’t defeated militarily by the Taliban. It just decided there wasn’t any point in being there anymore. Bin Laden had been killed and the people didn’t want them there. And Afghanistan wasn’t playing between two powers. The Taliban provided sanctuary to terrorists that killed thousands of Americans. That’s why the U.S. occupied Afghanistan for so long. The mistake the U.S. made after kicking out the Taliban was supporting a corrupt government in Afghanistan that didn’t care about the people. They U.S. should have ensured that the government looked after the interests of the Afghan people. But, had the United States not been attacked in the first place it never would have been in Afghanistan. Lesson for Afghanistan is don’t harbor terrorists that attack other nations. That being said, the U.S. should have left after they killed Bin Laden.
@MutumDevarishi2 жыл бұрын
@@nole8923 whatever that *wasn't defeated.." in fact it was indeed mind blowing watched by whole world when US retreats while taliban closing in and around the kabul with Ak-s and RPG. Would you mind your neighbour raising a sticks at your backyard?? Why is Western allies support Ukrainians and oppose Russia ally?? Definitely world pray only for PEACE and last only for PEACE

Afghanistan beat russia too a while back so i dont get what the point of bringing that up is regardless of your opinion on if America won or lost. THERE IS NO JUSTIFICATION FOR PUTIN INVADING UKRAINE. NOT NATO NOT NOTHING.
@rockrock84802 жыл бұрын
I think zelenskyy could have handled this situation even better in a diplomatic way. When you know that Russian is much stronger than Ukrain then at least for some years u should have built a strong army then u can opt for war till then diplomatic negotiable talks would have been better for Ukrainian people.this is my personal opinion u may disagree with me
@Olivier-GM2 жыл бұрын
"Russian is much stronger than Ukraine" I'm not sure of that. Ukraine will wipe its territories (including Crimea) from the russian army. Western countries are all on the Ukraine's side !
