Yes, the channel is popular in Korea. They do invite idols on the channel(Nayeon went on here for her comeback) but the channel mostly has Korean comedians and actors, which is why a lot of the videos don't have English subs. He's also known for doing gag battles where goes against other guests to see who can tell the best dad jokes.

The old culture is that producers(executives or camera directors) at broadcast stations have had an absolute authority over entertainers. That is why singers or entertainers have to bow their heads to anyone that looks like members of the broadcasting staff. Ssi means "missus" in Korean. That is why Lily-Ssi sounds so funny because she was basically using honorifics towards herself.

I think it's generally not common practice to add -ssi, when you say your own name, because you're trying to put yourself in a lower position than the person you're talking to. It's a cute mistake, because Lily clearly doesn't have that high of an opinion of herself, to introduce herself with, what is essentially something like "I'm Miss Lily", to make a slightly inaccurate comparison. She misheard Sumin, so she copied it. You don't add -san to a self-introductions in Japanese either, at least in almost all cases. Someone correct me if I'm wrong here, though!
