If you love birds then you should to visit the Fresno Chaffee Zoo. I loved it! You can walk into the bird section or sit and be with the birds. Beautiful zoo!

Im so pumped you did a video for the Charles Paddock Zoo. Ive never been there but I saw that it was one of the smallest AZA accredited zoos when I was looking up inspiration for my Planet Zoo builds and I have been interested in them ever since. I went to their website and looked at the map and species list and everything which gave me some ideas but this was an absolute heaven send! Two questions. Is the landscape pretty flat in the zoo or are there a lot of hills to speak of? Also do they have anywhere to have a sit down meal or is it snack booths or simply no food available for purchase?

I'm glad you enjoyed it! The zoo is basically all flat, no hills! And they sell some snacks and things in the gift shop, but that's about it!

If/when you are looking for more zoos to travel to across the country I highly recommend going to Ohio. They have 4 very beautiful and very famous zoos with pretty rare animals in Columbus, Cincinnati, Toledo and Cleveland.

It's so interesting to see the differences between American zoos and european ones lol all those small exhibits at 8:00, in Europe you would not have the secondary barrier and you'd be able to get right up to the fence (for better or for worse haha).

This is probably more like the average zoo. Just a small scale city zoo. Not every zoo has mega budgets to produce huge, fancy enclosures. And they're currently upgrading some exhibits.

Not all zoos have the same support or funding! I think they're doing a good job with what they have and are making a lot of improvements!
