inspiring, thanks ... and greetings from Poland where Puer tea still needs to find more lovers

Poland mostly drink black tea, I suppose.

@@benishan3 Poland mostly drinks shitty tea like Lipton or Minutka and so on. Sad to admit, but unless there is no societal progress, there's very few people who can enjoy great things like tea

At 6:56 the same make and model as my car, 2003 Mitsubishi Pajero, pulled in front of you. I love that car. They are quite rare here, so I was surprised to see it. Another great video and I enjoyed very much the topic.

Hi William I am from Malaysia. How can I purchase the pu-erh tea from you
@StarIings2 жыл бұрын
Hey William, watching this video and your ripe pu erh video do you think there is a concern of overfarming of tea for pu er in Yunnan? With how much the demand has increased, are there controls by the state for it to be sustainable? Its one of the things i've been thinking of lately in regards to purchasing pu erh, i fear i might be contributing to the overfarming and destruction of something unique and special. I live overseas but my family came from these lands.

The trend in the last 15 years has been to decrease yields and de-intensify the agriculture. The change in market demand towards higher quality tea means less gardens use pesticides. Having a conventional tea plantation with intensive farming means you'll produce high volumes and sell at a cheap price. It can be an economically viable model but it's highly competitive (there is too much cheap tea on the market) and not in line with the current political incentives.
