Beautiful! I've never done a tank model but I want to now! A neat grease effect is to mix up a small batch of vaseline with food colouring gel and apply with toothpick. No it will never dry and is applied last over your surface coat, the fun factor is if someone touches it lol hey it will act like actual packed grease. Still an impressive example thank you uncle night shift!!!

Ohne of the Jerrycans you painted was a jerrycan for water. They differ from the other ones because they normally have a karge white cross painted on both sides so the Tank crews wouldnt confuse them with normal jerrycans while refueling
@markgruener68594 жыл бұрын
Another fantastic looking armour model, well done. I really admire your approach to wearhering and the fact you work to produce a model that is interesting to look at and not just a replica of a reference photo. If you are looking for an experiment on a future project, try using acrylic paints for pin washing. The trick is to add some liquid soap to my acrylic washes so they behave like enamel washes, (the soap breaks the surface tension and allows the paint to flow like an enamel), but without the smell. And the soap seems to slow the drying time as well allowing for easier clean up. At any rate, thanks for another great video series, gotta love the German cats.

Another excellent build. This one is truly a master work. The knowledge you pass on with each video is very much appreciated. I don't build armor kits (unless they have missiles) but I have used many of your techniques on Automotive builds (think exhaust pipes, mufflers, headers) and most of all in building SF3D/Ma.K (Maschinen Krieger) kits. Which are a type of armor I guess. Thanks.
