Ya know, as an old guy, you remind me of Johnny Mercer, one of the greats of my life. Keep up your beautiful work. It really raises ones spirits. It's nice that you let the music speak for itself. You've turned out a new classic, my friend.

Brent, one more time - I really appreciate that You finally shared it with us. This is not only the tutorial. Shows also great feel to it and different approach, with interesting chord progression that ends up with not such a literal interpretation.. Thiis way of playing is not so obvious for people learning music. Great material.

k. s.m. I really appreciate your patience and persistence! I truly apologize for the long delay in making this video. I wanted to make this tutorial for you especially, but I wanted to do it right. It took me a while to build up to getting the equipment and getting through the trial and error of video editing, but now that I’ve got my system in place I’ll be uploading a lot more tutorials and videos with a much quicker turnaround. Thank you for your support, and stay tuned for a whole lot more content this year! 🤘

@@brentmccmusic : start a Patreon page and I can donate a bit each month, and I bet others would do the same! Then you will have more time & money for equipment and expenses to make more of these excellent videos! And more parodies of course!

How to find out if you set up a Patreon page? I don't get messages from KZbin and don't know how to find responses here (I am OLD!) But I subscribed to your channel so many I can get a notice that way? I am on Facebook in Guatemala.

Catherine S. Todd Thank you so much! I will work on setting up a Patreon page, but for the time being I added a PayPal donate button in the description of the “Stayin’ Inside” video for if you feel like donating. Every little bit helps in times like these, so I really appreciate it. Thank you so much for the support! More videos and music coming soon!

Given your type of voice and that you can play the piano/keyboards, and due to my personal bias :)), I think songs that contain already piano would match well; of course one can also rearrange songs to e.g. piano. You already did "Your Song", but as your singing progressed, maybe someday do that one again. Look up "Paris Match" in the Tracy Thorn version, it's slower and "barjazzier". Maybe you can transpone it to your voice. "Could this be Magic" in the Barry Manilow Midnight Special version, where he sang it first time. Love the way he plays Piano there, and his facial expressions. "Three times a Lady", Lionel Richie "Bridge over Troubled Water", Simon & Garfunkel "You light up my Life", Debbie Boone "Killing me softly", Roberta Flack "Don't know why", Norah Jones "Everything I do (I do for you)", Bryan Adams "Captain of her Heart", Double (sung by a man, this one could be nice for you) "Mad World", Gary Jules "Without You", Tobias Jesso Jr.; very Lennon-Imagine-like, very simple, but nice "Piano Man", Billy Joel "Creep", Radiohead - quite demanding in the upper range, though Well, I always had a thing for Love songs, I prefer to sing those, too, thus sorry for majorly suggesting those kinds of songs ;)) and, also, quite many I suggested are sung by women, as I of course know many of those. If I go over my playlists sometime, some more may pop up. Lastly, if you want to "covidify" another song, "Let it be", Beatles, may be a good candidate ;) Personally I wouldn't overly milk Corona though. Take care, kind regards, Meri
