My family is from the Philippines :) glad to see you enjoying Filipino food! & yes, Spicy Chickenjoy is spicy! That's strange that they only got a food rating of 1, maybe British taste buds aren't used to the different flavours? In the Philippines they often use coconut oil to cook food. Also, it's very Filipino to add hotdogs and sugar in spaghetti! Spaghetti is a party food in the Philippines, especially for kids birthdays. I'm surprised they don't sell rice with the chicken, chicken soup or palabok (rice noodles with seafood and a sour ish sauce). Also, what happened to the desserts? 🤔

The food rating was a food hygiene rating, a health inspector comes around and checks temps and food prep areas and stuff like that. When I went in there is was awesome, everything looked clean and the service was good. They do rice with the chicken but I wanted to dip my chips on the gravy. Can you tip the gravy on the rice? I bet that's nice. I was looking forward to try some Halo Halo, it's been recommended but they didn't have much. I'm sure they do a burger in gravy but I couldn't see it on the menu. @@Spudboyswalang anuman (you're welcome in Filipino) . Ah so the 1 was for food hygiene?😮 That's not good! I hope they improve that rating soon! & Yes you can tip the gravy on the rice! 😀 In the Philippines you can also get something called burger steak and rice, which are beef burgers without the bun, rice and mushroom gravy. I'm not sure if the Cardiff Jollibee had any though?

@@MisschicASMR I've seen it on a menu and I looked for it when I went in but couldn't see it. I really wanted to give it a go. I think by the looks of the place they have improved because it looked pretty clean. I really want to go back and have some more chicken, I might try and find a recipe and make my own:) That would be a fun vlog to make

You really have to mix the spaghetti. The pasta should be coated with the sauce. And it’s a great combo with the chicken joy. Try also the peach mango pie and the palabok. But, you have to mix the palabok with its sauce. Anything with sauce in a Pilipino pasta or noodles, you have to really mix it. The sauce will compliment the bland taste of the pasta or noodles. New sub here! Keep it up!

Hey :) and welcome to the channel. I was looking for a dessert but they didn't have any. I'm sure someone mentioned the mango and peach pie last time. For someone who don't like pasta I was pleasantly surprised how nice it was. I didn't even think about dipping the chickenjoy into the sauce. The chickenjoy is my favourite thing so far, I know they do a burger with mushrooms? But that wasn't on the menu when I went in, unless I missed it. I am not so sure with pineapple in a chicken burger as well. I didn't know they offered that in Jollibee there in UK. Here in the Philippines and some other branches I've tried abroad, they do offer the "pineapple" burger variant with actual beef patties and is more commonly known as the Aloha Burger and that tastes alright (not my favorite as well). Also, as some other commenters have pointed out with additional from me as well to better enjoy your meal experience the next time around: - always mix the pasta sauce well - most Filipinos prefer saving the chicken skin for last - try the Palabok Fiesta (I've seen it as Fiesta Noodles on some branches abroad) - end your meal with a dessert called Peach Mango Pie - quench everything up with a Pineapple Juice

Am from the philippines and I'm not too partial to the pineapple with the burger too. The Champ is the premium burger without the pineapple. That's my go to burger whenever I do drop by a Jollibee outlet.

@@Spudboys got all the goodies of the hawaiian minus the pineapple, so yes, it has the option of adding bacon if its not part of the menu. May be different there but here in the philippines, you could opt out of some of the garnishing and add other stuff. So customizing your order via the tablet can grt you a burger without the tomato and other greens, and adding mustard and so on

Fun fact: Jollibee Spaghetti doesn’t use tomato sauce, they use banana sauce. That’s why the taste is unique.

@@annyainne5213 The Spagatti sauce is sweet. The chicken is not though, the chicken is crispy, its hard to explain. It reminds me of the fired Chicken I had when I was younger in Oakwook. I'm not sure if they bread the chicken different. I used to work in KFC and they had a specific way to flour the chicken.

@@Spudboys Yes the pineapple is supposed to be in the beef burger and it's called the Aloha. It tastes amazing! This is the first time i saw pineapple in the chicken sandwich. Been eating Jollibee my whole life. I can only imagine what that would taste and i don't think it's a good combination either. If you're not too fond of pasta, perhaps you'd prefer the palabok fiesta which has thinner noodles with sauce & toppings like pork chicaron & shrimp bursting your taste buds.
