@22:07 Your anker point is much to high on your cheek. that will put your peep sight to low as well. It also looked like the draw length was to short as well. Pick another bow shop. I am sure the employees there meant well...maybe being on camera messed them up. Other bow channels to watch....Chris Bee, Podium Archery and Elk Shape.... I just found you next video of the lesson...gona watch that now too.

Congrats! I harvested my first turkey, with a bow (my first bow). You made a good choice, remember to practice with the equipment you will hunt with, and if you plan to shoot from a sitting or kneeling position, practice like that. Good luck,,i am excited for you!!

I bought a quiver from them I think. Best price I could find on a specific color for an elite. Archery is one of the best hobbies you can have. So much fun and great to get the family involved then. Move onto hunting and start filling rhe freezer it becomes a lifestyle and a healthy one. Fresh game meat is the best

Glad the other guy corrected the new guy about teh draw length.... You are so cute :) Dont fret on being a bit shy about this whole thing. You were doing great in that departement. Gz on getting your first bow. That said tho. What he didnt teach you, was to NEVER put your finger on top or in front of the trigger (ESPECIALLY!!!!!!!!!!!! when you are actively drawing the bow, bc now your bow is pointed in all kinds of directions other than the target). Dont even rest/touch your finger on it in any capacity from any direction except pushing onto it from behind, but its not rly necessary, but for a feeling of secureness its fine. Some ppl like to "lock it in". Im a little bit (rather big actually) dissapointed he wasnt "attacking" you when he saw that trigger finger being all excited and wanting to play (he should have, no if and's or but's or "being nice" about it etc.. Its a rule, its written in stone, and its a safety issue. Period). You will literally kill someone eventually by accident. Not CAN... WILL! So order is ALWAYS, get into anchor, get into places where you want to touch string etc+whatevs. Stand still, and only THEN do you slowly move your finger over and in front of teh trigger. If your body is moving.... Its a FORBIDDEN SIN to move your trigger finger. morally, ethically, legally. (not rly legally... But if you kill someone, then it WILL become a legal issue when they find out you did that. Then its incompetence at least and will be a factor in the sad event). But im exaggerating, last part, both to catch up, and also to negate what he taught you. Bc that is a bad habit, that is now already vaguely in you, where the opposite should be vaguely in you. Everytime, you accidently move you finger towards your trigger and you are not in position yet, you shoudl get the same feeling of horrible "woosh" upon you like if you were 2inches away form hitting a child with a 100mph speeding car. Imho, his instructions was deeply irresponsible of him, but okay hes not that old, so his age can be excused, but the safety standards by the shop, im afraid, cant. Dont wish to bash on them, but they need to train him better before he can train ppl safely in a deadly weapon.. Him not teaching you something, is also "teaching" you.

Man I am so happy to finally see you get your first bow and stuff 💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾✊🏾🏹🤟🏾 it’s not many of us but we definitely are in it ! I shoot a HOYT AND MATHEWS lift .. I do have that exact diamond as well I ended up buying it online ..also you would prob feel comfortable with a traditional ilf takedown recurve bow ..ask them about it next time. 😊

I start my bow at 28 lbs. then slowly increase to 33. 34,38,42

Awesome that you’re getting into this but they should’ve had a more experienced person working with you seeing that you’re a new shooter with no experience cause he look like he doesn’t have a ton of experience and I guarantee you you’re probably spending it close to $1000 before you walk out of their bows, bouquets quiver, arrows fuel points

Welcome to the world of Archery. It's very addictive and many rabbit holes to go down. Check out traditional bows as well. Beautiful craftsmanship goes into alot of them. Almost like artwork.
