I know this is survival and all, but most of the weakest competitors are moving on and the strongest are left behind because of plotting in the beginning. Most of them are scared of the strong players so they eliminate the strong when they lose because its their fault most of the time. The funny thing is the strong usually weren't eliminated because they lacked the skills, but by votes. Everything seems so skewed IMO. Ahhh also feel so bad for Ricky for multiple reasons... betrayed, lonely, how his trip went since he got there, and etc.

When I saw those dislikes I already knew Ricky was going to be eliminated...but still I'm so mad. Hate that voting thing -__- Without it the people who really work hard would pass the round! Now there's nothing that makes me want to watch the final anymore.

For everyone who hated on the three women, I didn't like them either, but I did like Iseul. I think she actually worked hard for the team, and only listened to the other girls mostly throughout the whole time. I don't get why after all this time, people vote for her and not Solbi! But overall, Jiwon's the only one remaining from the original number of people I actually liked...

Because she is the biggest threat out of those three girls, and also, Ricky wanted to eliminate her to make his old team mates (the guys) happy, and the others tried to help Ricky. It was not because they disliked her the most :)

Me too!! I'm not a fan of survivor shows so I haven't been watching anymore. If it's anything like the American Survivor show (of which I only ever watched one or two episodes) it's really just a popularity contest, with the ones who lie and back stab the most usually winning (i.e. the worst kind of people, IMO). I really miss the old Let's Go Dream Team.

Well, that was Jiwon's best obstacle so its no surprise Ricky lost. I know this is for survival, but I find it very sad that the best competitor is out and the worst one (Solbi) is going to the finals. And I will spoil this for everyone, Solbi gets eliminated first in the finale obstacle. All that plotting for nothing haha.

Like in most 'reality' shows, the winner has already been decided. Trust me, the producers want to milk every ounce of hatred for Solbi ... before she's finally eliminated. Without Solbi still in it, theere will be no one to 'hate'.

I thought jiyoung and jiwon were on ricky's side. When jiyoung said said he wanted the men to rise, I really thought he would eliminate the women but I guess he is too whipped over the person that he likes that's why he listened and followed her. Thanks to this show, these people are showing their real personality which is totally different than them being on stage and shows with scripted lines. But by sowing their real personality, doesn't that make them less famous and gain more haters?? I think jiyoung might be eliminate in the next episode then it will be solbi's turn

I think you've been truly well and fully deceived. There is no displays of 'real personality' in this or other reality shows. They speak from partially scripted lines and even so, the 'interviews' are abruptly cut off. Do you believe Dong Joon really cried his heart out? Yes, his crying was real but he already knew he had to do it or the producers told him to do it when the time came. How do we know it is partially scripted? Because on the list of staff & crew, there are 6 names credited as 'writers' and another 4 names credited as 'scripting producers'.

+firstsenpai1 I doubt this show is scripted as much as you think it is. The games certainly aren't, which means that the voting and eliminations can't be scripted, either. I believe that the "writers" are simply that: they write out the captions, the many words shown on the screen. The "scripting producers" just write out the cards that Lee Byungjin goes through.

I'm not mad that Jiwon and Jinyoung voted for Ricky at that point it's about increasing your chances to win but I think Solbi should have went since she's the ring leader of the blue women. Getting her out rather than her henchman Iseul might have resulted in a different ending. Plus they all seemed to have agreed and announced it during the Rolling Log game that who came second to last was going to go home. That's why I don't blame Jiwon or Jinyoung (they helped Ricky out before).

That's why i was hoping that she would lose on purpose so she and ricky would have one, but she really needed to survive, she's the nicest competator in this survival game, I just love her. Even with the Silmido Survival all the men needed Ricky to go...but he survived not being voted off. With the women they knew they had no chance against Ricky; even Jin Young. With the last challenge being the same as Silmido's it was a good thing they got rid of their biggest competition. Ricky knew he'd be eliminated. He is the coolest DT member that ever was. Like he said, it's not just winning it's all strategic to the end. You need to use both. I think DT knew what would happen and had to show a woman could take it all too; even against the men.

Why they choose Iseul. Out of the three gurls she was the innocent one. She was following Solbi and Narsha cause they were older. The other team just cant see how good she was to everyone. She felt guilty for doing it. It wasnt even what she wanted to do. She did her best and helped her team the most. I stopped after seeing Iseul leave and the rest starting to have a feast. I prefer the old 1. Solbi and Narsha were the ones controllong Iseul this special stinks.

This LGDT2 Hainan Survival is actually a 'remake' version of 2011 KBS Human Survival Challenger that was filmed entirely in Hawaii. There was a red team and blue team and the voting and elimination format was used for this LGDT2 special in Hainan. Kim Jiwon was the runner-up in the finale episode, and thereafter Jiwon worked briefly as a reporter on KBS Entertainment Weekly. It might shock many people that as in the original Challenger, the outcome (voting) in Hainan are all pre-planned and it is NOT by coincidence that Solbi & her group of 3 were playing the villains - you are meant to hate them! In other words, whether you believe it or not, the winner has already been decided bu the producers but the cast is kept in the dark for most part. What we're watching week after week, is just carefully staged for us, and through clever editing, dramatic music and scripted background commentary, most viewers think they're watching a real random game.

These "survival" shows make me sick. They are so full of crap. First of all, I don't get why these women, other than Jiwon were chosen to be in this show. It's about being athletic, Narsha, Iseul, Solbi, etc, are not known for their athletics, so why are they there. I'm so frustrated with those 3 especially, because they acted all superior when they ganged up and used men as their excuse to be bitches when truly they were just cowards and wanted to start shit. Honestly, I wouldn't be so mad if Solbi wasn't the first to fall in the Hanging on the Log challenge, but she was. Of course she was. She had no chance in beating anyone with her athletics, she only won because she's a loud mouth. The whole voting thing pisses me off too. This isn't survival, it's all bull. I want the obstacle courses to come back because if you're weak it shows, and only then do the strong TRULY survive.

Go rant on The Genius the same thing please, "the smart one should win, not the ones who join force". "Survival" show is not a physical contest, it's a game to test how well the participants adapt to the environment of the game. Physical, intellect, communication skill,... is required. The well combine of skills can help you survive. Ricky don't have that, so he out. I feel more sick at the PD decision put male and female in the game base solely on physical.(You can see that the 2 man easily got 3 status) They should make male-only or female-only, or make the game balance for both gender. Everyone join the program to win, if they can't win a game alone, then they have to join force. Don't whine about that.

KHusky12 At least in "The genius" most of the times you're out because you lose, not because of some popularity vote (the times in which there was a popularity vote deathmatch are the most loathed between fans and just 2-3 times). If you lose the main game is because you didn't win strategically and even then you have the opportunity to prove your value and redeem yourself on a deathmatch. That's miles away better than every popularity survival. In The genius the smart is the one who can overpass his/her peers and has enough social intelligence to make smart alliances when they have to make one. In this survival there is clearly a broken system that allows a very small group of people to get to the final almost by default even after losing most of the games without doing anything. Not only the production team didn't do anything to fix it, but they encouraged it to make more publicity. That makes 80% of the games they played totally pointless and has made the final 6 a match of the weakest. If it's a physical show, then it's pointless. If it's a survival show, then it's broken. If it's some kind of competition to see the best, then they have fucked it up.

Carlos Bautista I will not argue about "the genius" there's a lot of episode in the genius pass by quietly because of the "popularity vote", take the S3E3 for example, majority force the lawyer to select his ability last, force Delete use her ability on the lawyer, force the doctor to the last place.Intelligence is meaningless in that episode. but put that aside. In this survival like I state above, they mess whole thing up when put male and female guest together.Let's track back at episode 1. both team consist of 3 male & 3 female. anyone got kicked the other gender become majority. It's obviously you will spend more time with the same gender, make some kind of bond and vote for the opposite gender. Il Seul said something similar too "at first I do it to survived, after that, i just can't betrayed them". So the show mess up right at the start.The player just do anything possible to survive. But people don't see that and keep blame on the girl, that make me sick.

I'm pretty disappointed in this episode. I like Ricky and Jiwon but they both made odd decisions. Jiwon should've let Ricky join in her victory but she picked Jiyoung who's already won before. Then Ricky disappointed me the most by picking Iseul, who is the most consistent and innocent girl here. She's the youngest of the 3 blue girls (this is important in seniority) and pretty much did what they told her to do. Then she never spoke bad about anyone and always talked / implied how difficult it was voting those blue members off (which Narsha and Solbi never did). In fact, no one cared once she left, Nasha / Solbi had no reactions - pretty cruel. I'm sad that Ricky said he did that for the blue team members and yet he chose the girl that had the least factor in all those eliminations. I'm surprised no one wants to get rid of the ring leader Solbi. Pretty bad lapse in judgement.

I understand where you are comming from about the back stabbers that thought they both can win(solbi and narsha.) BUT! Did u not look at ALL the episodes?! ISEUL IS SO SWEET AND QUIET but did she or did she not vote Ricky out with solbi and narsha????! SHE DID, They all united to vote out all the guys knowing that there can only be one winner of the entire game, I felt bad for Ricky because he had just got there and then got eliminated, HE DIDNT EVEN STAY 5 HOURS OR A DAY! Don't scold him for trying his best, everyone wants to win so they tried their best, It's not his fault he has skills, he can't help it... Some times he tries and he makes it over and over!!! Tbh ISEUL is sweet but she is weak against a real survival with no one around, she did good!

I'm extremely disappointed in the women- this is exactly what u will never call fair play! I don't understand why they didn't try to show that women can win even when the person you are fighting against is a men. so the only women that showed the desire of fair winning is jiwon. that's why I like survival in slimdo better! just take byeongcheol as an example he voted for his senior and friend just to play against the strongest! Agreed! The 1st person to go when the Red Team had to eliminate was a woman straight away. All that the ladies of the Blue Team did is realise that without banding together the women would mostly be eliminated almost as if it were by default, because apparently they're not deemed as valuable as male players. If Narsha, Solbi & Iseul never banded together it would be mostly a "male world" there, it made it interesting. People have an issue with it because it's going against the norm - everyone would be OK if it were close to all the men in the finals, but because it's now all the women in the finals people are seeing it as if it's harsh? Hmmm double standard indeed!

I have to admit that the objective of the game wasnt thought that well... that's why they need to have strategies... the game itself is crazy thats why the women thought of something that can make them have a chance. And if you watched ep 1. The boys thought of the same strategy... but failed to do so. And u think its fair for ricky to stay when he wasnt around for about 2-3 games..though it wasnt his fault?
