Great fun that they've kept the QJ left-hand drive, I suppose it's considered alright since plenty of modern diesel units only have the one control stand. This'd be like running "long hood forward", to a greater extreme.

China still uses some steam locomotives. They’re really only used for moving things around active coal mines. since in these cases, you basically get your locomotive’s fuel for free, its considered viable. even with maintenance costs factored in.

I've always really digged 6988's style. Those speed-lines look surprisingly nice on it.

Very nice. I have yet to see this locomotive (or any of the others in the Midwest) in person, but I can definitely appreciate trains and railroads st my home state of Pennsylvania provides numerous railroads and museums to visit.

There is one thing that I would do if o donate a QJ 2-10-2 locomotive to Oregon, not only would I Americanize it, I would also convert the QJ Locomotive from a Coal Burning Fuel to an Oil Burning Fuel.

Brave man to go on a Chinese built locomotive. No way would I go on a Chinese built high stream pressured vessel.
