I love teaching (and learning alongside) my child about different cultures, different climates and just helping them see they are a small part of a huge world. It teaches empathy, curiosity and acceptance along with the factual knowledge of our world.

I love teaching my kids geography. It lets us see into different cultures and lets us see how other people live. I have looked at this curriculum several times.

I’m excited to start geography with my littles. I was blessed to travel quite a bit before having kids so I look forward to being able to share my personal experiences in different countries with my kids. Hopefully I can bring it to life a little more with my stories, photos, videos, etc.

I love your comment! ❤ I don’t know why it never occurred to me to do that, but I’m going to copy you! I’m going to add in my own personal experiences to our lessons too with pictures and stories. I think that’s a great way to connect with your kiddos. I think our kids see us as “mom”, but to share parts of ourselves from a time when we were young and adventurous (not saying we’re old) will add that “special something” to what may otherwise be a not-so “special” subject. Thanks for sharing!

I have never seen this! I love geography. 🗺️ 🌎 ❤ We love map work and map drills. This would perfectly go along with our World History next year!😊

I love geography because it lets us armchair travel. I LOVE to travel, but we have 4 kids and can't afford to take elaborate trips but we can still learn about other cultures. I love having a lot of books about the culture and making it as immersive as possible!

We like integrating whole family subjects like geography. This curriculum is great for both my elementary age kids. It has hands on learning with crafts and videos!

I’ve surprised myself with how much I’ve come to enjoy geography. Both teaching and learning myself. One of the greatest things I think that’s happened so far in learning about other places is that my kids are discovering for themselves, how grateful they are to live in the United States. I mean there are some truly incredible places in the world and they’d love to see them, but they also see that life is very different in other parts of the world and according to them, they “like it here”😂.

I love geography so much. However, I'm apparently failing at teaching it because my son asked if the USA had 52 states the other day.... I can't tell if he was serious or not. We love going all over the country though and going to National Parks and different museums and such. This would be fun to be able to teach about the whole world more. And that's an amazing price for all the info!
