When you handle a musky it's best to use soft cotton gloves as they are fragile. Also, tap the bottom of the boat lightly when you see them near the lure. It will trigger a strike. Only works with plastic jons or kayaks, not aluminum boats. I forget why it works when you tap. A pro fisherman taught me it. Let me tell you it works. Has something to do with bull head noise.

Another great video, I use the the jaw spreaders for pike hear in the UK but mine have rubber ends on so there softer on the mouth I find that the fish don't kick about so much 🎣🎣 tight lines buddy

Glad you got into musky fishing Kendall! Unfortunately I would be willing to bet that one probably had delayed mortality after the catch. I would suggest looking up a video about fish handling (Muskys specifically) because they are fragile and there are some things you can do to minimize delayed mortality. Anyways nice fish and awesome video!
