Let's go "no budget" shopping at Sephora (summer edition) ☀️

I couldn’t care less if you bought anything or not. I love that you swatch products and show us actual sizes. I shop mostly online because the nearest Sephora that isn’t in a Kohl’s store is over an hour away, and I refuse to drive that far for a Sephora trip. I stick to my list 90% of the time I place an online order, but when I go in the store, I spend a lot more money(I usually have a ten year old with me, and I have a hard time saying no, unless I am really broke😂), so I prefer to shop online. Pictures online can be so deceptive, so I appreciate your videos like this! I really want to try the Supergoop tinted sunscreen. Hopefully I will be able to buy it after I finish one foundation. That’s going to be my rule, no buying something new until I finish one thing that is similar to what I already have.

If you want a suggestion on a good bronzing drop like thing for summer, I would definitely recommend the saie glowy super gel in the shade sun glow ☀️

my mom has the Estee Lauder double wear concealer and it looks so good on her! she has medium oily skin but she has a-lot of texture and this is one of the only concealers shes tried that didnt look cakey on her

My favorite tinted sunscreen is the Bliss Blockstar invisible daily sunscreen! It has a tint, so it looks “invisible” and gives off a glowy finish!

I love the Watermelon Sugar Gisou lip oil😂😂😂 I will use it until the day I die! I do not like gloss or lipstick on my lips, so I have been wearing oils and absolutely love them. The Elf lip oils are my second favorite. I like how thin they both are, and they don’t “seep” outside of my lips. I feel like those two brands actually hydrate my lips, and I don’t like color, so they are perfect for me. I love how we all have different wants and needs in beauty products!

I was wondering if you’re familiar with “project pan” which is a challenge some people in the beauty community do where they choose a set few products to use until completion. The merit foundation stick is very very nice but be warned the amount of product you get!… you might rethink it. 😬 and my favorite spot concealer is the nars one in the pot. Be buying it for years since it first launched and I suffer with cystic acne always does the job for me.

☀️ Also I have that one size primer and it genuinely depends on your makeup preferences. For me it was essentially like Elmer's glue in a tube. You have to warm it up in your hands before putting it on or it will pill up. Idk what the oily girl experience is like because I have dry skin but it made my makeup dry and flakey which makes sense because it's essentially children's glue. It keeps the face "sweat proof" by kind of having a whole layer of latex underneath your makeup. Based on the videos I've seen of yours I don't think that would fit your preferences, it's very much so in the drag territory of makeup where it's less about what it looks like up close in person and just having it stay on your face where you put it.

the SuperGoop spf spray has a STRONG scent and it will burn your eyes if you open them too soon after applying. the mist isn't fine either. it doesn't feel heavy but it def feels like something on the skin so i don't think it's worth it

The super goop sunscreen spray isn’t very good. At least when I tried it last year the sprayer wasn’t fine and it had big droplets that ruined my makeup. It also was minty in the worst way. Sunscreen sprays are always high in alcohol and the mint wasn’t doing it any favors imo.

Great question! A “reasonable” budget is going to be different for everyone based on their income. Personally, I change my budget every month based on what I plan to film, products I might need to restock/review and things I might want to buy in the coming month. I have budgeted anywhere between $50-500 for beauty. Some months I budget more if I plan to shop a sale and others months I cut back if I want to save more.
