Morning Jami - What a fabulous little adventure you started our mornings off with. So many amazing finds. You can tell that many of these items were once a very loved part of someone’s family, because their condition is pristine. It’s so weirdly odd to see items that were as common and natural as the sun rising in the morning, that I used or played with, now sitting in an antique shop, such as tin lunch boxes and thermoses! I carried those for years going to school, lol. I can remember how excited I would be, if my new lunch box (it seemed we kids got a new one yearly that we were able to pick ourself!) had the latest toy, cartoon or movie depicted on it - such great memories this quick stop you brought us along on Jami. 💗 Thanks for this visit Jami and I hope all visiting your page today, found something that was as wonderful for them, as much as it was for me, with being included on this antique shop explore with you, that it has brought to me - and I hope everyone has a most wonderful Wednesday! ☺️💞

I bet your mothers 40 year old blender still works. A good rule of thumb when vintage shopping is if you see something that you absolutely love, think about what you currently have that you could part with and replacement with the item you love.

I have my original Osterizer blender that I got as a wedding shower gift in 1973! It still works great! And better than anything that I've tried to buy for my daughter. Things were so much better made back then.

The appliances or whatever lasted much longer than the ones today. Today they r all fancy & have all these bells & whistles but start falling apart within 3-5 yrs. Back in the day a washer would last 15-20 yrs‼️

I'm still me and I'm glad I've kept them. I still have my Alf doll.. I have my cabbage patch doll my dad bought me and has never been out of the box so many cool things I could go on and on. I checked the prices on eBay and all the other pages from time to time just for curiosity. No price high enough to make me want to sell yet lol. Have a good one, much love 💜

Loved the video! I used to have antiques in a shop in Crosby. I think it was that one. I also dated a guy from Crosby when I was a teenager and we raced his boss 302 around there before there was a fly over. It was just a quiet little town. You would have loved his parents. They had peacocks, a cage of rare squirrels and other birds and farm animals.

I couldn’t remember who Allan was. I thought Lyssa? But she has no chickens. Bri has a picnic table for her chickens. Then you reminded me of the squirrel at the JL Ranch. Bri also had a picnic table in a tree for the squirrel in her goat pasture. She had been feeding him before the flood. I wonder if he made it through that flood. Thank you for reminding me.

❤ Thank you for taking us along in the antique mall! I love all of the eye candy, and the memories it evokes of days past... I may not have used some of these things, but I know people in my family used them on a daily basis in the past. I won't say the 'good old days', because I know for them life was not easy on the farms, or working where they worked. We are so spoiled with our air conditioning, washers and dryers, dishwashers, refrigerators and freezers... I'm grateful for the stories, wisdom and advice the older generations passed along to the youngins...

Some of these things bring back such fond memories…my Brother had that yellow Tonka truck as well😊 And that yellow blender was a gift when I got married in 1977!😆(don’t have it anymore..I wore it out!) “One man’s trash..another man’s treasures”…it’s all good.😌

I love antique and vintage stores too Jami, if I see one I have to stop. The distressed white door was awesome. I have a black one just like it hanging my wall. Boy, all those toys brought back some fun childhood memories.
