Oh they loved the soup and I just love the whole day…I lost the hat once and then I made sure it was firmly held on my head oops! Hi Shannon and mama G, hope you're both good 😊 I've never been pumpkin picking before in my life sad I know! It looks like good fun. I've been strawberry picking when I was little and ate a lot of them before we got to pay for them. My mum told the lady that I'd eaten about 10 before coming to her and she told me to go and pick 10 more which I did 😊 I loved the outfit you had on but I was shouting at the screen for you to wear the bobble hat in my opinion it really looked nice I thought it really suited the outfit better the hat you wore was nice too but the woolly hat was the one for me 😂 that soup looked so yummy my husband keeps saying he's going to make a pumpkin soup but never has. I went to Norwich last week to visit my mum and we were walking along the sea front and it was breezy but lovely but the cold got into my mum so we took her to a cafe that did soups and when I tell you it was the best soup I've ever eaten..it was the best soup I've ever eaten 😂 it was homemade and was delicious and very filling. I couldn't eat it all so my husband ate the rest which he was very happy about 😊 homemade soups I think are the best kind. You know what's going into it and you can make it as thick or light as you like. The one's we had were thick-ish! I bet your work colleagues can't wait for you to take some in! They're going to want you to bring more in 🤣 anyway, I'm off now on a bike ride. It's lovely weather. My husband has a mobility scooter as he suffers from different ailments and I have a ebike so we're going to make the most of it whilst the weather is holding out 😊 hope you both have a lovely weekend. So it's one that I've kind of winged over the years...I don't have measurements but the basis is: pumpkin, onion, tomato, pepper (sometimes potato), veg stock, double cream to finish and plenty of seasoning...Hope this helps! Have a great day 🥰x
