Love that you give back to your community after you yourself had benefited from such a service. I donate a lot myself. It’s important to pay it forward ❤

That's a great tradition to start with the kids. I started it with my niece and nephew when they were very young, we would bring an unwrapped gift to the fire station

You are a great mom 😊. I'm an old lady one of my favorite memories with my mom around the holidays was going to K-mart and picking paper star ornaments with children wish list on them. It was so fun and exciting knowing how you would change Christmas morning for some children. We continued for many years even as I became an adult and had my own children. I was just thinking about those special lesson my mother taught me. God bless you Mom!

You should Cat and Jack pants from Target, they're worth it! In all the years we've been buying them our eldest has only ruined the knee once and that was when she had a really bad fall. ❤

My son is 29 now and he was the same way. The knees were always out. Nowadays it's ok for teenage boys to have holes in their knees but you feel like a bad parent when your younger kids have holes in their knees..oh the irony 😅 I found the best brand, and ironically so has my son for his 2 boys, is Osh Kosh. They lasted through him. Same with my 2 daughters. I would buy items for the one who was 17 months older, have my 2nd daughter wear them and then resell them for almost what I paid directly them!😅 Hopefully the quality hasn't changed since the 90s or 2000s!
