There are several good reasons for buying used books. You’ll save a truckload of money. There’s something about a used book . It almost seems like they have more character than a new book. They carry a bit of each person who previously read it, giving it “ character”. Did you say your dad went with you to the sale ? Did he find something good too ?

Do a lot of libraries have these used book sales? I'm a very slow reader and often times a lot of the popular books that I'm interested in reading have long wait lists and I can never get them. They always have people waiting for them almost right away (I use Libby) and it just stressed me out, but I would love to be able to buy more secondhand books and get a lot more books than if I bought full price, and support libraries that way!
